NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - The PTA mother who stole more than $100,000, including money from a young boy dying of cancer, was up for parole on Monday.

Julie Buchanan tried to explain why she stole money from so many people.

"I was greedy and selfish and self-absorbed,” Buchanan told a parole hearing officer. “There is no excuse. I stole the money, I embezzled money, worst of all I hurt people that were my friends."

Talk about greed right there! Stealing from boy who was dying from cancer. She also stole her own dying mother's account. That is low!  :mad: :argh:
