North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory on Monday filed suit against the Department of Justice over its challenge to the state’s controversial transgender bathroom law.
The state was facing a Monday deadline set by the Obama administration to respond to its demand that North Carolina either scrap the law or face legal action and risk losing federal funds.

The whole thing is BS and just more Obama bullying. Claiming that the new violates discrimination laws would mean that having separate bathrooms, locker rooms, colleges and even gyms for men and women would violate the same laws.

I certainly hope that North Carolina stays strong and does not back down on this legislation. It is a matter of safety for minors and women, not a matter of discrimination. Anyone with an I.Q. over 10 should be able to figure that out.

I'm just amazed that our culture has fallen so far so fast that merely asking that biological males use men's bathrooms and biological females use women's bathrooms is considered controversial. All part of the socialist agenda to turn everyone in to the same genderless, mindless automatons that can be easily controlled by their betters.

The Obama administration will send a letter to every public school district in the country telling them to allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity as opposed to their birth certificate, The New York Times reported late Thursday.
The letter, first obtained by the Times, is signed by officials at the Justice Department and Department of Education. It is expected to be sent Friday.
While the letter does not have the force of law, it does warn that schools that do not abide by the administration’s interpretation of civil rights law may face lawsuits or a loss of federal aid, The Times reported.
The Obama DOJ is really stepping over its bounds.
