If Clinton wins a clear majority of pledged delegates, does anyone think Sanders will be nominated?
Let's say Clinton leads 2175 to 1876 (a reasonable projection) heading into the convention. Is there anyone here who honestly thinks Sanders will be nominated?
Anyone? Anyone at all?
If so, please provide an example of when such a thing has happened and explain how that occurrence relates to the Clinton-Sanders race.
If not, can we please put an end to all of the irrelevant superdelegate threads?
Bonus question: Does anyone here honestly believe Sanders will end up with 2026 or more pledged delegates? Anyone? Anyone at all?
Finally someone besides franksolich gets it.
<<<was rather lonely there, for a while.

Some sage told me if you write out an indictment and put it under your pillow the Indictment Fairy will arrest Hillary Clinton.

22. That's not a reasonable projection. And yes Sanders can be nominated and will have more than 2026.
Any more questions?

28. Sanders has far less a chance of getting a clear majority that Clinton in 2008.
It's over.

64. My dear sir or madam
You have obviously never heard of Bernie math: it's the new, new math that can only be calculated by unicorns and only then if you sprinkle them with glitter (and the answer is always "Bernie wins"). So the answer to your question is, "Yes, all the (swell-named) BSers". Incidentally I strongly agree with your characterization "the irrelevant superdelegate threads" which we could do without and it would not make one iota of a difference.

Hey rock, do all of us sane people a favor and go over to Manny's jackass message board and explain that to a certain idiot broad there.

What would really be fun is if Hillary were to become persona non-grata and low and behold, the Democrat machine puts Biden or Kerry in her place. That would be fun. I know it's been spoken of before but I cannot imagine anything with more drama than scenario.

Well, that may yet happen.
Remember franksolich's First Rule: anything can happen, and usually does.
The only thing that's pretty certain is that the old sourassed sourpuss has pissed off too many Democrats with his sanctimonious holier-than-thou attitude that he won't be the surprise nominee.

Well I don't think we should lose sight of the fact the biggest problem the cranky old commie has with respect to the Democrat party is the fact that the cranky old commie isn't a Democrat.
All this crap about real democrats will/should vote for the democrat nominee when Sanders isn't a democrat to begin with. At least Trump is a member of the Republican party.
And then all the fantasy about how Hillary could lose to Trump but that Sanders would wipe the floor with Trump. It's like these morons have been asleep for the last six months. Trump, regardless of what you think of him, takes no prisoners. Don't believe it just ask the Pope.

Yep, I've been over at jackass to see who has landed in reality so far:

I have come to say good bye
I have decided to leave JPR, not because of anything done here, but I have come to realize all Politics is totally corrupt and bought with major money. I don't wish to participate any longer in any of it any longer. This election has shown me how bad the United States has become. That some one with a dream, of doing the right thing, can be over whelmed with big money, propaganda and lies. Its no better than any of the corrupt governments in South America or any other place in the world. I have had enough of it. I am done with it. I will say my goodbyes now, sayonarra.

Okay fine, I will stay. I was very badly beaten up on DU by, what I am sure was a paid Hillary Troll. I have been reading what others have said, including Bonobo, over there, and have gotten some of my hopes back up, but I am pretty much afraid that Hillary will totally steal this election from Bernie and lose to Trump, no matter how many supporters she has. She is an arrogant witch!! I hate how she is bought and paid for by big Corporations who want to ruin this country. I totally hate the trolls she has put out into the field to discourage, dishearten, and dissuade democrats into thinking she is a progressive, when she has ever been. I hate this campaign with a passion because its turned previous friends into enemies, and PLACES like DU will never ever recover from it. She is determined to win, and acts like the THRONE belongs to her. She will do anything to be there including underhanded and unscrupulous behavior. It makes me sick to my stomach, as to just how corrupt she really is, and mark my words, she will make things worse in this country even if she manages to beat Trump.

"Yui" lives in SF and is new to corruption in politics? (S)He should get a load of the cesspool called the San Francisco Board of Supervisors (actually, Stuporvisors), Assembly members, and State Senators ... maybe start with a certain Leland Yee.
