1. I"m so sorry, my dear fizzgig...
I hope he will soon be over this awful disease.
That's a strange way of saying "being married to the fizzgig primitive", but it's Calpig, so she probably didn't read the OP anyways.

Are you guys on Obamacare? I don't know how that works for ER visits.
The price of healthcare in this country sucks. Well, everyone knows that. I just paid $400 for a month's prescription that last year cost about $70 a month. And I have Plan D.

7. we have insurance through my job
and thank the gods for that, but you're right in that the cost of health care sucks.
How many years into Obumblecare are we now? I thought this was all supposed to be fixed?

9. he hasn't been comfortable for days
doc gave him some painkillers and he sounds like he's sleeping deeper than he has for a week. i think that's a good first step.
Does anyone know if Fizzgig has a taste for pills yet?

13. You can still try to negotiate your portion down, fizzgig.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's definitely worth the effort. Hope your husband gets better asap.

20. i'll let them know they get 20 bucks a month
best we can do.
She can only scrape together a spare $.66 a day for a medical bill, but the weed fund overfloweth, no doubt.

23. i'm really hoping he's about to turn the corner
poor thing is just so miserable and it's breaking my heart.
it is obscene that people in this country have to worry about the cost of needed treatment.

She took hubby home and was sitting in a bar. Doctors call in prescriptions even when a written copy is required for certain drugs, and most pharmacies can have them ready in minutes. She just wanted some time away from him.

I'm sure the feeling was mutual for Mr. Fizzgig.

You may recall that Fizz has told us that Mr. Fizz is a thief.
She has bragged about the luxury electronic items he has brought home from work.
That was before Colorado had weed stores. By now, he has most likely quit Best Buy to work in a head shop.
Probably still shoplifting, though.

Didn't fizzgig travel to NYC to pick up some bux from a dead relative?

Yeah, and it wasn't that long ago; maybe within the past half-year.
Her paternal grandfather died, and left her some. I have no idea how much it was, but it was enough that she had to fly to New York (from Colorado) to get it.
Given the price of pot, even "legal" pot, I wonder if she's already depleted it.

That would be my guess. Gone, victim of the bong.
Is it possible that Mr. Fizzgig is suffering from the effects of second hand pot smoke?

She wasn't going to for the funeral, or to visit relatives. She had to travel to New York to pick up her inherited money in person.
They put the cash it in a briefcase and handcuffed it to her for safekeeping.
None of this would have been necessary if New York banks could handle electronic funds transfers like the rest of the country.
Apparently they are still devastated by the 2008 financial collapse
Or maybe this is another case of a DUmmy lying.

Sounds reasonable to me. :-)

The last time I had a life insurance check, my family though enough of me to use the correct address.
Et tu, fizz?

Well now, she probably had to sign something to get the dough.
I know, I know--I did this one time myself--one can sign papers by sent by mail.
But her father was probably paying for the trip for the two of them (she and her father), and it was a chance to get away from Colorado and hubby for a few days, so why not.....

Now, if they had ObamaCare, they'd have nothing to worry about!

I think she went back to "clean out" the old apartment, dad paid the way, of course:

what I find hard to believe is that fizz was a reporter before she screwed it all up and ended up working at a call center. Never knew she was Jewish, either.

Isn't part D medicare? What happened to medicare is the greatest thing since sliced bread?

husband will be home later this afternoon
he'll be on oxygen for a week and antibiotics for a month, but hopefully this ordeal is over. he's having a friend pick him up so i don't have to leave the house.
it will be good to have him home.
thanks to everyone for their good wishes.

You know, despite that dope's legal in Colorado, that doesn't mean it's safe.
