This has been old and stale for a very long time now, the news media and Bernie bullies distorting the delegate counts for Messalina Agrippina and Methuselah.

Hillary needed to win pledged delegates by 65% tonight to avoid convention contest
She failed. Bernie made it clear he is in until the last vote is cast. In case anybody has forgotten, the last votes are cast at the convention. As of last night, Hillary cannot win until the convention, period.
Here's the math: 2384 needed to win nomination.
After last night, Hillary has 1651 to Bernie's 1346; accounting for 2997 delegates assigned (1651 + 1346 = 2997)
There are 1,054 pledged delegates left (4051 - 2997 = 1054).
Hillary needs to win 733 of those delegates (1651 + 733 = 2384).
That means she needs to win 69.5% of the remaining delegates to win without the Supers. (733/1054 = .6954 x 100 = 69.54%)
Again, Bernie has made it clear he is in until the last vote is cast.
The Bernie bully's citing elected delegates, omitting the superdelegates as if they don't count.
Unfortunately for the Bernie bullies, the superdelegates count just as much as the elected delegates.
This is just wistful thinking on the part of the Bernie bullies. Wistful thinking is one's right, but it's also a sure guarantee to making the wrong conclusions and being rudely surprised when the bottom line comes.

Actually, 2,383, a very minor error but one sees what the primitive's trying to do here, raise the bar for Messalina Agrippina.

After last night, Messalina Agrippina has 2,182 to 1,404 for Methuselah.
There are 1,054 pledged delegates left (4051 - 2997 = 1054).
There are 1,206 delegates left.
Hillary needs to win 733 of those delegates (1651 + 733 = 2384).
Messalina Agrippina needs to win 201 of those remaining delegates (2,182 + 201 - 2,383).
It makes no difference, no difference at all, no difference in the least, whether those 201 she still needs are superdelegates or elected delegates. She needs only 201 of them.
Now, who is one going to believe here, a lying Bernie bully or the august New York Times and franksolich?

Frankly, it's getting to the point where even The CHILL is probably starting to worry about the delay of whatever the decision will be. If the decision is not to indict & prosecute the reaction will not be calm or brief. It's getting to the point that that reaction will still be live and active during what she is hoping will be a Triumph in Philadelphia, and enlivened by the D Convention.

This is no different than if the primitive were to consider only the male delegates, dismissing the female delegates as if they don't count, or only the delegates 5'10" and taller, or only the white delegates, &c., &c., &c.

I think her choice could be calculated in a way to try and get the FBI to back off, depending on the timing.
The same way a lot of people are probably thankful for the obozo not having a fatal heart attack while in office, because of creepy joe.

UPDATE: as I predicted, Hillary now needs to win 71% of remaining delegates!!!
Wiki updated the pledged delegate totals. Hillary now has 1664 to Bernie's 1371.
Here is the math:
1664 + 1371 = 3035. 4051 - 3035 = 1016 delegates still in play in the upcoming primaries.
2384 - 1664 = 720 delegates Hillary needs to win with pledged delegates alone.
720/1016 = .708 x 100 = 70.8% of remaining pledged delegates Hillary must win to avoid contested convention!
Also, as I just mentioned in another thread, the majority of those delegates are in open and semi-open primaries!!

The fact of the matter is, you stupid splunt, Messalina Agrippina needs to win only 201 more delegates--it doesn't matter if they're superdelegates or elected delegates--to cinch the Democrat nomination.
That's it. Nothing more than that.
And probably she could just sit on her hands, putting out no further effort, and reel them in because the Democrats award delegates based upon proportion, and surely she's going to get more than 20% of the vote in each of all the remaining primaries.
