6 Reasons Exercise Is Better On Weed

At first thought, it seems counter-intuitive, but read and think again.

The words “marijuana” and “exercise” may not go together upon first glance, but they actually go hand in hand. The marriage of the two is something you may have not considered, but if you’re looking to get ripped–you really should.
...

Did you know that weed is actually the best thing you can do for your workout routine?

Sure, we know pot has the power to relieve pain and stress, but did you know it can also improve focus, increase metabolism, and make you BETTER at your favorite sports?

Let’s look at the facts.

Some of the most incredible athletes are actually pot smokers.

Seems to have some broad assumptions, but there is some useful truth in it.

4. Uniformed people think of pot users as being heavy users.

But light toking pot is excellent for concentration and focus in some people, I used it sparingly for years in college, and got excellent grades.

What I am really envious about legal pot is so many varieties can be found, all with different effects.
We only had access to a few strains in the 70's.

That`s funny, practically every one I have ever known that smoked regularly was a completely worthless, zoned out retard even when sober.

I fully endorse primitives getting as high as possible and wandering deep into forests, swamps or deserts, whichever is convenient

Not to mention narrow trails terraced into steep hillsides!

I would be fine with that except for the cost to rescue the stoner or recover what is left of the body after the animals get done with it.

The primitive lives on the breaking edges of society, nobody but their drug dealer and landlord would notice them missing and neither would bother reporting them missing

An accurate definition for liberals.

And I am sure that one would be glad to see the dummie gone and the other would get shot because they were not meeting their sales quota.    :cheersmate:

I'm not trying to bore anyone, but here goes ...

I've mentioned that I walk/run races - half marathons, 10Ks, 5Ks. My preferred course is a park trail, for the (usually) beauty and for the extra challenge of hills. Some of the trails are terraced into steep hillsides and very narrow. Then throw in exposed tree roots, smooth rocks that are slippery when wet, ruts from rain run-off and, sometimes, mud. Yes, I am weird. Anyway, it's tough enough keeping good footing without slipping or turning an ankle and occasionally letting faster runners pass. I do not want some one on those trails passing me or me passing them who is not fully aware and capable of perceiving reality accurately!

I also do some work with weights for the sake of some balance in my fitness. Though I currently do not belong to a gym, I have in the past. There is significant skill in lifting safely - oneself and others nearby. As above, I do not want some one on a machine or using free weights who is not fully aware and capable of perceiving reality accurately!

Safety should never be compromised because some one likes how it feels when exercising while in a chemically altered state of consciousness.

I cannot stand it when people get uninformed and uniformed mixed up.  Sloppy.

I like the idea of the swamp.  I don't think that cost of clean up would be anything.  Don't the gators store the prey deep down so they can finish it at their leisure?

A recent study a FSG University showed that pot smokers were:

1) more likely to be delusional
2) more likely to have an inaccurate view of their own intelligence
3) more likely to say stupid and inane things
4) more likely to congregate with other idiots
5) more likely to be a drain on society

Which pretty much sums up the DUmp.
