The ACA is in better shape than you think (No, it isn't. It's a boondoggle of the highest sort destined to fail to the gov't could come in and pitch single payer as the solution)
...
"Meanwhile, beneath the turbulence, the ACA has been slowly gaining more acceptance. One new study published in Health Affairs found notable changes in the way Americans view the law since it was first passed in 2010. While still unpopular overall (An understatement), fewer people worry about it disrupting their own healthcare and more feel the law has actually done some good. And the portion of Americans favoring repeal is declining. “The ACA has delivered discernible benefits,†the study concludes, “and some Americans are increasingly recognizing that it is improving access to health insurance and medical care.†(Yes, sure, uh huh. I guess that's being proven by all the millenials that are signing up. Wait, nevermind).
....
"Roughly 20 million Americans have gained healthcare coverage through Obamacare (Listen DUmmie - healthcare coverage is WAY different than healthCARE. Have you seen the premiums and deductibles for garbage policies?) – about 13 million through an exchange and the rest through expanded Medicaid coverage. And the portion of Americans lacking insurance has declined by about 9 percentage points under the law. (Did you know that you must be accepted into a plan with pre-existing conditions, but the plan says nothing about covering MEDICATIONS for those conditions. See William Rivers Pitt. He has first hand experience with that).

The country's largest health-insurance company is almost entirely quitting Obamacare
United Healthcare, which currently covers the most Americans in the US (pending the proposed Anthem-Cigna merger), said in its quarterly earnings release on Tuesday that it is removing its offerings from almost all Affordable Care Act exchanges by 2017.

"The smaller overall market size and shorter-term higher risk profile within this market segment continue to suggest we cannot broadly serve it on an effective and sustained basis," said CEO Stephen Hemsley in the company's quarterly earnings conference call.
"Next year we will remain in only a handful of states, and we will not carry financial exposure from exchanges into 2017. We continue to remain an advocate for more stable and sustainable approaches to serving this market and those who rely on it for their care." The company had previously said that it was reviewing offering plans through the ACA exchanges, but this is confirmation that the company will remove nearly all of its products come 2017 to remove any financial impact. The exchanges are state-by-state marketplaces that allow Americans to compare and sign up for now-mandated health-insurance coverage.
Hemsley said that the cost of offering coverage was too high, as those who gained insurance through the exchange were less healthy and thus the company paid out more claims. So as we look at it, the early indications on the health status of the members appears to be a little bit worse," said UnitedHealthcare CFO Daniel Schumacher.
In total, the company expects to lose $650 million on people covered through the exchanges in 2016 after losing $475 million in 2015, according to Schumacher.

The plan all along was for it to fail so they can usher in Universal Healthcare. Just wait until the primitives see how bad it is when it's "free." They'll be screaming to tax the rich until they're dead to fix it, never realizing the whole point of universal healthcare is to take your money and give you back very little, if anything, in return.
Liberals are so gullible.

I have said on many occasions that I am perfectly fine with universal care, so long as we all pay the same for it. Think that will ever happen?

By the people getting it through Medicaid. :thatsright:

The thing I find hilarious is the libs are now babbling that it was originally a conservative policy. Maybe so, I don't know and I really do not care. Anyone with half a brain could have foreseen this was going to be a complete failure. The longer this goes on the faster we will move to single payer. Dummies think it is expensive now? Wait until single payer becomes a reality. Hello VAT! Then we will listen to the dummies bitch. No more free health care lunch for them!

4. Being in a red state, one insurer has left and the remaining
insurer will leave next year. Thanks for a few years of affordable health insurance. You are gods in getting us something we can afford from the middle man gods for awhile. But whatever you do, don't let that white privilege single payer ever happen.
Oh well sucks to be you. You guys championed this to no end, and you know itl
