Title: the big guy won't be on line much.....

Oh my.

You know, for someone who won't be on line much, the big guy sure seems to be on line a lot.

It didn't go so well at the dentist for me today.

My tooth was cracked so bad it could not be saved. It came out in pieces. I have two photos from before and during, but I'm not posting them. Yuck.

I didn't know OSHA doesn't like to have patients take home their old teeth with them. Big change from when I had my wisdoms out some 30+ years ago.

Anyway the material to hold my new implant is in the jaw. I will get it down the road. I'm on good pain meds for the next few days and won't be online much.

Already know I bit my tongue pretty hard now that the shots are wearing off.

A bunch of neo-primitive responses, but they're all just the "good luck get well" type.

Did he get the cracked tooth after he hit on a HS girl and got punched?

His tooth tried to be an example to him of how to leave this moral coil. Maybe once the pain killers wear off, OS will follow its lead.

I think the big guy needs to post the photographs; it'd be so unlike him not to.

You are right. He did post pictures of birds not long ago.

Why is this terminally ill waste of oxygen spending his wife's money on dental bills?

Ooops, you're right; I hadn't thought of that.

Replacing a broken tooth in the big guy, because he's terminal and doomed to depart this time and place "soon," would be about the same as giving a 95-year-old man a vasectomy.

If he does, and they're really gory and gross, NJCher will want the recipe.

His wife will only be left with an open box of mini tacos in the freezer, if and when he ever finally dies.

If I wasn't online as much as him, I'd be here all day every day. However, I have this work thing.

So, I could be, but I ain't. Fedgov frowns on that crap.

When I had some of my wisdom teeth cut out (I was born with two extra on top of the usual amount most people are blessed with), I was put under.  I was given some sort of pain killers to take when I got home.  I never used them, and just threw them in the garbage.  I only took ibuprofen, sparingly.

Steve must be a giant quivering ***** to take pain meds for just a simple extraction.

His wife will only be left with an open empty box of mini tacos in the freezer, if and when he ever finally dies.

His last conscious act will be to jam the last four in his yapper.

Hey Steve. Get back to me when you actually start to lose body parts. I had a bad tooth do the same thing back in 86 when I was in the Army. The dentist left part of the tooth still embedded in my jaw. I used up a weeks worth of pain killers in two days and went back the next Monday to find this was caused by the part of the tooth left behind. He also didn't close the skin that would have covered the whole thing to start with. So don't be bitching that your in pain and can't be online. I went ahead and continued with my job after another day of medications and called it good.

Now would be a good time for the workers at the lab that make false teeth to go on an extended strike.  :-)

The Big Guy (who is dying but more slowly than expected) said the extracted chiclet is being replaced with an implant.

An implant takes up to nine months to set up in the bone before a new tooth is attached to it.

Months!

And he promised that as soon as the alleged brain rot takes hold he'll pull the plug.

Next thing you know the Big Guy (who is dying but much more slowly than expected) will be planting an oak seedling for shade in his golden years.

Months of restrictions on what he can eat, so as not to mess up the healing process!

Well, that blows away the Dead Pool, where the maximum longevity had been projected to 2018.

It looks now as if everyone's betting the big guy's not going to terminalize before 2044, when he's about 87 years old.

Is there any risk of infection and subsequent death from one of these implants?

There is a slim chance that the Big Guy could suddenly die, rather than gradually die.

We could be so lucky, but I don't think we will.

Because he isn't dying.

So, just as a refresher- how long has the Big Guy been dying now?

Has I been over a year now?

The Big Guy (who is dying but more slowly than expected) will check out much sooner than it appears at the moment.

He's around sixty, he's about a hundred pounds overweight, and his exercise is limited to chewing mini-tacos.

His ticker is a ticking time bomb, primed to explode at any moment.

Even if his alleged brain rot is real (and it probably isn't - he's a DUmmy and DUmmies lie, all the time) it's moving far too slowly to get the job done before his heart blows out.

He's like a semi-literate version of the Las Vegas Leviathan, and we all remember what happened there.

Good point.
