"Sovereign Citizen" blows his hands off with home-made explosive...

What an idiot.

Ohio 'Sovereign Citizen' Loses Hands To Homemade Bomb

Alphonso D. Mobley Jr. was allegedly building a bomb with a powerful, but unstable explosive that he was cooking in the kitchen of a vacant Columbus, Ohio house when it detonated, blowing off both hands.

Despite his injuries, the 26 year-old man was charged yesterday with possession and manufacture of a dangerous ordnance alongside 21 year-old Roberto M. Innis Jr.

Uninjured in the Tuesday morning blast, Innis called emergency services to the scene and later allegedly confessed to helping manufacture a dangerous ordnance.

Triacetone triperoxide, better known as TATP, is an old, but powerful explosive used by suicide bombers in the Paris attacks last year. Long known to extremists as ‘the mother of Satan,' it is easily set off by friction, static electricity, or flame.

While there is no word yet on where Mobley learned to make the compound, neighbors tell 10TV that both are ‘sovereign citizens,' a category that the FBI and other law enforcement agencies consider at least as dangerous as Islamic terrorists.

Most ‘sovereign citizens' are not violent. Some are merely deluded by tax avoidance schemes, while others are ‘paper terrorists' who use false liens and other instruments to commit fraud. Still others are just petty criminals, homeless squatters, or paranoid Dale Gribble characters who want to skip paying for a driver's license and car registration.

Hmmmm. Alphonso D. Mobley Jr...I wonder if that sounds like the lily-white anti-government 0bama-hater they imagine he is... (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027746637)

14. How much do you want to bet that he also has no health coverage of any kind,

since he's totally opposed to Obamacare? And now he'll expect to get all the serious medical attention he now needs paid for by someone else, i.e. the Government? Which will of course, include prostheses for the rest of his life.

I think for someone like that, they should just bandage the stumps, give him a week's script for pain killers, and send him home. That's more than enough.

Well, golly gee. Let's rev up the Google Machine...

Uh oh, Spaghetti-Os! They're NEGROES!!!

Guess that sticks a fork into the usual DU meme about anti-government types.

#Blackhandsmatter   Ha!

The DUmmies have no idea.  Like the two black guys that beat up the gay guys at Burger King.  They spend the thread repeating each others' "hand" jokes.  They're not as good as our foot jokes in the Bob Banzin threads.

Seriously, literally EVERY time we hear about some psycho committing a terrorist act or an act of violence, or conspiring to do so, the DUmmies immediately, without bothering to look at the facts behind the case, assume it MUST have been some imaginary right- wing redneck militia guy wearing camo, misquoting Scripture, and talking about how much he hates gays and non- whites while watching 'Duck Dynasty' and 'The O'Reilly Factor.' They then use that to demand that every single conservative political commentator be immediately arrested for 'Stochastic terrorism.'
Then, when that inevitably turns out to not be the case (Usually either a radical Muslim, or a psycho- fringe leftist whose views are more in line with the DUmmies than with us), they either ignore it and never mention it again, claim that he must have been framed by the cops, or portray him as a noble hero taking a righteous stand against American racism/ sexism/ homophobia or whatever.

Their predictability is rather amusing. It keeps the  popper warm.

They're banking on the law of averages eventually working out in their favor. They only have to be right once for them start up the propaganda.

Let me refocus that last sentence:

They only have to be right once for them to pretend the scores of times they were wrong didn't happen.

Thanks. Hadn't had my coffee when I replied.

Yeah, and my "vitamin C" level is on the decline. Can't boost it if I want to sleep tonight.
