Last night a thought came to my mind ...
As a, once, competitive 400 meters (back then it was called the 440 yard dash) track guy, I was thinking about the race strategy I, and every other competitive runner, used in meets that had more than one qualifying heat.
I'd run hard in the first heat, to get a good lane assignment in subsequent heats AND to get into the heads of the other runners. Having established that, in the subsequent heats, I'd run just hard enough to keep a decent lane assignment, and if necessary pull the field along to make them spend more energy than they intend.
And within each preliminary heat (after the first heat), I'd run the first 100-150 meters hard, in order to get ahead of the field. I'd stride out the next 100 meters, and then run the final 150-200 meters, just hard enough to get a good lane assignment.
Then, in the finals, I'd run all out.
I don't know what brought this thought to my mind?
Okay ... back to the primaries drama.
Go back to not thinking please.

Hey, DUmbass. I thought your race strategy is to call anyone who disagrees with you a racist... and is "competitive runner" a racist dog whistle, you racist dog?

Another stereotype of black athletes being good runners upheld. :-)

He never stopped not thinking.
This was a "I was great back in HS" bouncy. An invented Al Bundy moment of glory, if you will.
On edit: the word "never" starts with an "n"

Last night a thought came to my mind ...
It quickly died of boredom. Or committed suicide, either one.

Just proves one should not attempt things one doesn`t have the equipment for.

And yet, somehow, Carl Lewis made it to the Olympics and you didn't.

Today, I had a thought.
How can I cancel BET and coincidentally lower my cable bill?
By definition it's racist.
Actually I'm thinking about starting a whole thread about it.
Comma Chameleon...comedy gold for the Big Dog.

Sounds like someone is trying to trade on a stereotype, for some (D)U luvin'.
F**king, bullshitter. This just, came to you, out of the blue? Of course, you had to run to a board populated by 60-80 something hippies and functionally illiterate basement-dwellers who couldn't run upstairs, if the pizza that Mom bought on the EBT card, was free?
Please............

Noam sayin'?

But, because my mind is an empty void, it left because it was lonely.
