My first negative reaction to my bumper sticker today.
I pulled into recycling center a truck was behind me.
I was taking out 2.5 gal. water bottles to recycle.
This truck had turned around came back through and the driver yelled out his window "F***you, you communist b*tch!"
The few people around looked confused. The guy who works at the center yelled at the guy and ran after him. He didn't understand what just happened. I told him I think it was due to my Bernie sticker.
He said "what's a Bernie sticker?"
I said "Bernie Sanders bumper sticker." He still couldn't believe it. I almost said well he's probably a Trump supporter but I looked around and some of those people looked like Trump supporters. So I didn't say much else.
I put my Bernie bumper sticker on my car last fall. So it took a while. I'm not surprised because I live in a place where there a lot of low information voters, namely the So. Cal. mountain area.

1. I'm sorry you had to endure that.
Once you get away from the coast, you run into more Trump supporters.

2. That's exactly why I don't do it
No stickers, not shirts, no yard signs, no nothin'. People are rabid these days.

5. Yeah I was concerned when I first put it on.
But I was pleasantly surprised when not only did I not have any negative reactions but I received a lot of thumbs up and "yeah Bernies." The IE what are you going to do? I love the trees, bears, deer, raccoons, skunks etc. up here. The beach area is definitely better but then there's other issues like expensive, traffic etc.

4. I live in one of the reddest counties of a red state. Love Bernie and got a sticker when I donated
but, NO WAY is it going on my car

7. I don't blame you. But this is California still.
While the people may be rabid at times they are probably not as rabid as where you live. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy was originally from elsewhere. We still get a lot of transplants here.

Meh, could have used more NRA stickers, Confederate battle flags, diesel smoke, and bystander head nods. One bong. ::)

Nice try.
If he had said the guy yelled at him then took out a shotgun and blew him away, I would have been more inclined to want to believe it.

Once again CalPegg gets the first reply, that old bag must be refreshing her browser every 10 seconds.

Well, **** you, you communist bitch.
-
WAAAAAAIT!
The person didn't commit vandalism by taking her sticker off and only yelled the truth at the communist bitch? Sure as hell ain't a leftist then.
Oh.... and ZERO BONGS.

The CalPig is off her(?) game.
Didn't reply with "my dear".

I once put a note on someones car that had an Obama sticker. The note said:
"Excuse me, but someone put an Obama sticker on the back of your car. You may want to remove it or people will think you're an idiot".
I didn't stick around to see the reaction.
