I knew without a photo you wouldn't believe this one about birds



We see them every year. The marsh is just down the hill from us in plain site. But even with our telephoto lense shooting between the trees makes a good shot hard to impossible to get.

Two days ago we had another first at our feeders. A pair of mallards were eating corn out of the squirrels ground feeder.

Marta went to KC. Steve is home with a care provider to change his adult diaper.

First off, it's "lens", not "lense".  Only ignorant people use "lense", which would explain why the Big Guy is using it.

Secondly, that's a nice alibi the Big Guy has there for owning a telephoto "lense".

I realize it could be different where OS lives, but hereabouts feeding squirrels (or crows, or pigeons) would get you ostracized! I view those 3 critters as justifications for allowing firing BB guns and air rifles in the city!
