Hi,
It's been a long time since I posted on this forum. I'm pleased to see my 2012 post still in the mix.
It's been a frustrating 7 years seeing our country progressively get worse, not only because of BO, but also because the RINO's allowed it to happen.
David Stockman published an article I saw over the weekend that really nails it and thought I would pass it along. I can't wait for his second part.

Hey Dennis good to see you again.

Likewise, none of the Republican greats would have vowed to tear-up the hard-won nuclear and trade deal with Iran on day one in office, as Rubio never stops declaiming. His hard core opposition to that breakthrough for peace and sanity, in fact, is a damning indictment.
The War Party in Washington and Tel Aviv has spent the last 30-years constructing a tissue of lies about the Iranian regime because both need an enemy in order to mobilize their domestic constituencies. The truth is that despite its theocratic rebuke of Imperial Washington after the bloody and thieving reign of the Shah was peacefully ended, the Iranians have never aspired to nuclear weapons, do not conduct a remote fraction of the terrorism inflicted by Washington’s drones, bombs and cruise missiles, and have never threatened the safety and security of the American people.
In denouncing the Iranian accord, Rubio is loudly embracing Washington’s 30-year tissue of lies about Iran and the destructive neocon foreign policy of which it is but one baleful extension.
That's where he lost me. Iran is a country run by the worst of humankind, and this guy wants to tell us that they're not? That obama's nuke deal was a great thing?
Yeah, thanks anyway.
Good to see you, Dennis.

Hi Thundley,
Have you checked out bleachernation.com? Much better than the Cubs forum.
Hope you are doing well.
Best regards,
Dennis

Hi,
I agree on the nuke treaty. From what I gather Stockman much prefers the Eisenhower theory of keeping out of all that crap. There are lot of people that believe our saber-rattling has done nothing for us at all other than to create enemies and cost us tons of money, and a lot of kids hurt or killed.
I'm not defending Stockman; but it would not bother me to see a lot of military brought home.
You can see the Marine Corps emblem by my name. For the first time in my life, I am discouraging young people from joining the military. When our government is sending them to places where they don't belong, putting ridiculous "politically correct" rules of engagement restrictions on them, and then bailing on them when the rubber meets the road - I can no longer support that. It's one thing to fight for our freedom; but quite another to fight for some stupid political idiot who has no damn clue, against an enemy who is predominantly fiction.
Sorry for the rant, I did like the Trump part from Stockman.
Best regards,

There's only 30K of us left in Germany and they are rotating brigades from the states here and to Korea as well to fill the gaps.
How many more do we need to bring home? Enough to let China and Russia dominate?
