1. Ok here is reuters
As many as six people were reportedly shot and killed in Michigan on Saturday night in a series of apparently random shootings, according to media reports.
NBC News, citing officials at the sheriff's office, said six people had been killed and three others wounded in shootings in and around Kalamazoo County.
"We seem to be dealing with a worst case scenario, someone driving around shooting," NBC quoted Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas as saying.

And authorities have not confirmed butkus.
And now they have confirmed this somewhat...
Authorities could not be reached to verify the reports independently, but confirmed the number of deaths in interviews with news media posted on their web sites.

2. What does "butkus" have to do with it.
You might not know that's a name of a famous ex-football player.
^ Which one of you is poking nads?

3. Usually means they have no info on it
or don't know a thing, to me.
I found that lack of confirmation interesting.
There are two possibilities, These reports are being written from scanner traffic... and somebody messed up and this is a drill. We have had those... and if you come into the scanner traffic in the middle, they are realistic as hell.
Or the cops (I fear this is the case) are too busy chasing shadows right now.

bupkus
Popularized by sports fans for the phonetic similiarity to Hall of Fame American Football player, Dick Butkus, bupkus is a Yiddish word literally translated as "nothing".

Nads in breaking news and she is NOT referring to her own blog?

Breaking news on homicides in Kalamazoo.
gNads is really putting her capacious butkus on the line, while continuing to ignore Enesenada.

Perhaps a subtitle to this thread should be 'Nads knows bupkis about bupkis.'

What a schlemiel! What a schlimazel!
Yet another drive-by-shooting of the English language by nads. She should try to master standard English before trying to make it more colorful by mixing in idioms and slang.

Thousands of DUmmies are on the edge of their DUmmychairs, hitting "refresh" over and over to get the latest from the nutcase.

More than likely it was killed by the filth it lived in. If you love an animal, you will clean its cage from time to time

As I type this, Oreo (our cat; she was rescued from a neglect situation) is laying down about six feet from the roaring fire we have in the fireplace. We clean her litter box out twice a day; we vacuum up he spare litter that she manages to track out of the box. Her food bowl is cleaned twice a day; water bowl, once a day.
Yeah, we love her. :blowkiss: :-)

Actually, I vaguely "remember" it from Bugs Bunny, but can't find it on You Tube. I didn't watch much television in the 70s.

A schlemiel is a man who has soup spilled on him in a restaurant. The schlimazel is on the other side of the exchange.

One must be careful when delineating a difference between a hasenpfeffer and a hasenpuffer (use your imagination). One is an insult (or conversely, a compliment).

rabbit stew where the rabbit was marinated in it's own blood.
An NJCher favorite.

LaVerne and Shirley
I saw lots of references to that show, but I didn't watch it, not even one episode. I didn't watch TV much in that time-frame.

Yup. I'm thinking Nads never did any real good drugs when she was young and is trying to make up for it now.

First rule: Clean up the evidence before posting a "Oh whoa is me" thread.

When I first saw the picture of her bird cage and the eggos within, it took me back to when I was in Mexico for the first and last time in the 70's. It's like sloppy thirds all over again.

Yep. gNads killed her parrot by feeding it chocolate. Add murderer to her list of abilities.

Not possible. nadin is a self-recognized authority on parrot nutrition. She pointed this out in several furious replies to DUmmies who dared to question her dead parrot's unorthodox living (and dying) conditions.
For example, when a parrot is in a bad mood, she feeds it a Snickers.
The "Chips Ahoy" cookies are actually nadin's personal stash. She hides them in the parrot cage to keep them from her husband.

Something wrong there. Parrots and sailors go together.
I think gNads throttled the bird out of jealousy.
What a gNasty scrunt.
