So I placed my Bernie Sanders 2016 sticker on my car this past week...
I work for a doctor in a pretty conservative area. I have been with him for years so the patients know my car. I have had quite a few give me the "stink eye" and hear the whispers. That being said, I have had more people approach me about Bernie and expressing their enthusiasm and, may I add, they are donating like crazy. I haven't seen this kind of passion since the 60's. I am lovin it. Had to share.
I am 37 years old and i have never approached somebody about their bumper sticker. I might give them finger about it but never approach.

.."and someone immediately took one of my windshield wiper blades.
"I don't understand why."

I put a Sanders sticker on my car figuring that it wouldn't get broken into because I obviously have nothing of value until Bernie gets elected.

I have new neighbors across the street, both with Bernie stickers on their cars. I don't think either car is newer than 1990 or would cost more than $1500 to replace.

I was behind a car that had a Bernie sticker on it this morning, while coming in to work. It was a Prius.

This is a lot of the explanation of the whole bern thing. You got a bunch of aging hippies who never grew up and envisioned the world being this utopian paradise since the 60s. The bern, they believe, is their last chance to matter. Little do they realize that they didn't matter then, don't matter now, and will be viewed in history has having never mattered.

I need to find someone who can sing I'd Love to Change the World with Jackie Mason's voice.

I think they are confusing passion with delusion.

One bong. It started with "so".
It sucked otherwise.

Good theory but, in NH the only demographic where the hilbot beat the bern was the over 60 crowd. Unfortunately, the so called millenials are apparently fully indoctrinated commies.

Around here, some old cars have "W - Still The President" stickers.
But I still haven't seen a bumper sticker on any car I'd care to own.
-
Are these Libs/Progs life experiences so impoverished that affixing a bumpersticker to their beater is some sort of rite of passage? :rimshot:
The only people excited about the OP's bumpersticker are the ones relieved that it helps keep his beater from falling apart and littering the street. :rimshot:

My response to the highway primitive, as it might uplift her notion of herself:

I'm concerned about these whispers that the primitive is hearing. Do they happen when it's alone in its car? The bathroom? Maybe a crowded place when it will lose what's left of its mind and turn up on the news
-
Lurking DUmmies, I have read your bullshit about bumper stickers for nearly 15 years, and it's time someone sat you down and explained something to you:
NO ONE GIVES A FLYING SACK OF **** ABOUT YOUR BUMPER STICKERS.
If anyone is giving you stink eye, it's because you're an asshole, a situation that prevailed before you placed your magical sticker, and which will prevail long after your car is repossessed or hidden by you in an insurance scam.
If anyone is whispering about you, again, it's because you're an asshole.
Once you understand how completely insignificant you are, and how rarely anyone thinks about you, you'll be much better off.

The kind of person whose neighbors will end up on TV, saying that he kept to himself, and they never really knew him "before"

It amazes me when liberals say, "I haven't seen one Trump or Cruz bumper sticker, only Bernie and Hillary", and believe Trump and Cruz have no support.
For lurking DUmmies, WE don't put that on our cars and trucks because we don't want you a*sholes to key the paint, which you do. WE do our talking at the ballot box, while you cry over your bumper for your candidate that got their ass whipped.
So there.
-
I never understood the whole bumper sticker thing... especially for a politician. Why mar my car with something like that especially if it was going to be passe in a couple of years.
I think the dummies are using the stickers to cover up rust holes.
-
I have A LOT of bumper stickers, political and otherwise....on my beer fridge and tool boxes in the garage.
I would never put a political bumper sticker on my ride. But, I believe I understand the DUmmies motivation for them. They want (actually need) to feel part of The Club, and/or aggregate their opponents. They're still pissed from having to see all those "W" bumper stickers years ago.
-
The stuff they think to start a discussion about. Boring as hell!
Cindie
-
When I see a burnout sign or sticker I generally just point and laugh like hell. :lmao:
-
Only thing missing is him becoming enraged about something, a cop jumping from a bush and him converting a die hard conservative to vote for Bernie. Only 2 Bouncy Balls from me.
-
What they put on their cars next to their nambla stickers is none of our business.

I burned all the bushes around my place just so no cops could jump out of them and then guess what happened...the damn socialist Fire Department came and pissed on my parade.

What he didn't mention is that it was someone else's car he put the sticker on.

This is exactly right. And after you did it, you'd run to the DUmp and tell everybody about it. I also think they look tacky.

The only, only bumper stickers I put on my truck are magnetic in nature and can be removed at my discretion. They, 99% of the time, have nothing to do with politics.
-
Oh that's right. I had a magnetic "Support our Troops" ribbon. No one's going to key you for that around Fort Drum.

If anyone did key your car and was witnessed, they would stand a good chance of having their face keyed . . .

I've seen some DUmmie cars, I can guarantee you they are either covering rust holes or holding something important on.
I've also noticed the more stickers on the car, the more liberal the driver.

I have a magnetic sticker as well, a "13.1" oval from a race I did last October. A political sticker would probably be safe where I work - a defense contractor - and at church. But at the mall or a shopping center, I'll pass. Why tempt an idiot to do what they are?

I have seen a couple of cars held together by bumperstickers of a conservative POV, but most such I see are Lib/Prog, probably 5-to-1.

I saw one old beater that was covered by anti-Obama stickers, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a racist liberal. There were Alex Jones website stickers, pro Planned Parenthood ones, a Coast to Coast one, and to top it off, a couple of union stickers.

Sounds like the guy's multiple-personality-disorder personalities each have their own set of stickers.

Not really. liberals are notoriously racist.

They're still showing up on cars around here. You can spot one at 50 yards.

Why because of the flashing lights on the car that pulled them over?
