Title: US Supreme court slaps obumble over EPA rules
Post by: I_B_Perky on February 09, 2016, 08:36:59 PM
This is not a dummie thread per se. I'm sure it will be is the reason why I put it here. Nothiing at the dump so far. They are all agog with New Hampshire.

The headline:

Supreme Court Blocks Enforcement of Air Pollution Rule

I won't bring over the article since I am not sure about copyright rules.

Now this is only a temp stay.  Still a slap in the face to the dummies and obumbles.

From the article:

Quote
Four members of the court, Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan dissented and said they would have allowed the EPA to continue enforcing the rule during the court battle.

These justices are the worst and are living embodiments of whats wrong with government as it exists today.

Their view is, let the epa do it until it is decided that the epa doesn't have the authority. The correct view is, the epa shouldn't do it unless the epa has been granted explicit authority to do it - which they weren't.

(On edit) Those justices all espouse "ends justify the means" judicial reasoning, instead of fidelity to the constitution, which is the job they were hired for and took an oath for.

Of course they would.  Because it's much harder to get appeals courts at the higher level to reverse what's already been done.  So you march forward with your despotic rules and by the time it gets to an appeals court of the SCOTUS...it's too late to undo the damage.

obama wants to destroy industry in this .  Alternative energy sources we are forced to pay for through the energy companies do not pay for themselves.

It could take up to ten years to decide.

The above mentioned "justices" are, in my book, COMMUNISTS...........central government elitists.....who have NO REGARD for the constitution or the people the constitution is supposed to protect.

The liberal wing of the USSC also voted to uphold the Kelo ruling... the eminent domain rule too.  I remember the dummies were all upset that the liberal wing did this and actually agreed with the conservative wing... until the next ruling came along that they liked.

Dummie change their mind more than John Kerry.  They really are like little children.

And the so called elite establishment politicians in both parties wonder why the American people have had it with them. They are thinking though that this election cycle is nothing more than a temper tantrum by the American people.

Ten ring, all of it. They really are that segregated from reality, both the elite establishment types, and the left.

Likewise on them really being little children, though I'd add the qualifiers of spoiled, coddled, misbehaving, bratish, and just plain mean.

Personally, one man's opinion here, it comes down to this.

1. We have a professional bloviator by the name of Trump. Knows how to tell people what they want to hear. Knows how to use the media.  Knows how to present himself.  Not beholden to the establishment... supposedly.  If he can do half the shit he says if he is elected president, he will probably go down in history as another Reagan.

2. We have a admitted socialist that wants to give free shit to those that won't have to pay for it.  Proud to admit it. Got real grassroots support from the millenials that can't change a water faucet gasket if their life depended on it.  If he can do half the shit he says if he is elected president, we will become another European state with high taxes and no incentive to better oneself. Hell we are halfway there already.

The question is this:

Who wins?  That will determine the future of this country.

I do not like Trump. Not one damned bit. He is another PT Barnum. The alternative is Bernie. So I will probably hold my nose and vote for Trump for the simple reason he thumbed his nose at the establishment rinos and the MSM, rubbed their nose in it, and comes out smelling like a rose every time.  Maybe then they will finally get the damned message. We can probably survive a Trump presidency.

If Bernie gets in, this country is lost and everyone should learn to speak Chinese.  This country in its current form will not survive a Bernie presidency.

Just my 2 cents.
