Title: Relationship between Obamania and Deaniacs
Post by: USA4ME on July 29, 2008, 08:16:26 AM
I have yet to see this discussed here, or anywhere for that matter, but it has occured to me over the past several months that this messiah complex of B. Hussein's and the worship his disciples give to him are just an enhanced version of how the Deaniacs reacted to Howey back in 2004.  I think back on Howey's populist speeches and how his followers proclaimed him as the new savior who would kick in the door of the country club, and then compare that to the Obamaniacs and how they are behaving, and I'm left with the conclusion that the quacks who made up Howey's base are now the quacks who make up Obamassiah's base.  It's just that this time around, their exalted leader didn't blow it by screaming like a nut, he made it to the final streatch, and now we get to witness the full force of the fanatics on public display, which we would have witnessed back in 2004 if Dr. Dimwit would have won the primary.

Anyone else noticed this?  Anyone heard or seen it discussed somewhere?  An article in a conservative journal maybe?  I really would like your imput on this, please.

I just find the parallels striking.

Of course there's similarities.

Now, even though Barry "Goldwater" Obama, unlike Harold Dean who didn't make it past Iowa, is the presumptuous Democrat nominee, like Dean Howard (or whatever his name is), Barry "Goldwater" Obama's going to lose it, in a big way.

Sit back, relax, watch, and wait, and see if I'm not right.

Definitely.  Many of the same fanatics people, and the new Messiah has to be made out to be even more powerful than the previous, failed Messiah, so it is not only a natural relationship but a natural escalation.

There is actually a Huffington Post article that makes your point - that the core Obamatons are reformed Deaniacs - there is also a fundraiser group called Deaniacs for Obama or something along those lines.

Here is the Huffington Post Article.

From what I know, the Deaniacs went for Edwards at the beginning of the primary.  When it got down to just Obama and Hillary, they tended to overwhelmingly gravitate to Obama versus Hillary.

That's what I know from the Deaniacs that I've talked with.
