Title: Just wondering .
Post by: MikeGlosterIII on January 25, 2016, 11:26:02 AM: If your first choice fades in the stretch, who would be your second choice ? My first choice is Dr. Ben Carson.. My second would be Governor John Kasich.

This question is not confined to Republicans, nor to declared candidates. Democrats, especially liberal ones. would be welcome to respond ( haven't been here long enough to know if there is any of these critters posting here ) ?

But others would certainly be acceptable to me. However each state race turns out. It is going to be a long haul.

Would love to see Huckabee do a lot better.
But all in all my soap box is anyone running for the GOP nomination would be orders of magnitude better for the US than owebuma was.

Kasich is a loon who has screwed the state of Ohio by grabbing as much "free" money from Obama as he could for the state's medicare program.

And he's pro gay marriage and for amnesty.

Sorry...don't need more of that kind of Republican in DC

Kasich is right below Graham on my, "Oh please, dear God, NO!!!" list. And very dissimilar from Carson, BTW.

I'm between Carson and Cruz, and they have fairly similar views on many matters.

Yep. For those here who are my Facebook friends, I don't post my political views there. But tossed a post up yesterday about 7 (now 6) days of relentlessly intrusive ads. And encouraged all of my Iowa brethren to participate. On either side, don't care. Those who actually know me well know what side of the political aisle I lean.
