New rules are obviously necessary, so here goes.
1. No, this site is not going to shame Melania Trump for her choice to pose nude. If you post ANYTHING suggesting a campaign to do so? You're out of here.
2. Do not, under any circumstances make the mistake of assuming that someone is less informed than you are. That would be an enormous mistake.
3. Remember that the goal is to keep the White House. Keep the negative comments about Bernie and Hillary to a minimum. You post that you 'aren't going to vote for 'abc' if your candidate doesn't get the nod? You're out of here.
4. There is a profound difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. If *your* candidate doesn't win the nomination? Just pull the lever for the one who did and consider it a vote AGAINST the Republicans.
5.We have bigger fish to fry- We cannot allow a Republican to EVER AGAIN appoint someone to the Supreme Court.
Yeah can't have someone actually uphold the Constitution when you're trying to destroy the Nation. :whatever:

Remember what the Obamessiah said four days before he beat McLame . . . "We're four days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America." Any Republican interference cannot be tolerated.
However, the wave is coming. Between the country itching for a change in the White House and President Obama's insistence on degrading the 2nd Amendment, there's a 60-40 chance of taking the White House and increasing the Republican margin in the Senate, IMO.

I'll vote for the Donkey if necessary to keep republicans out of office. I have issues with the Democrats - like not being liberal/progressive enough for me, but they are a damn sight better than ANY republican at this point.

Thank you for your attempt to ameliorate the rancor and counterproductive infighting that seems to plague a variety of liberal/progressive pages lately. I hope you have better luck and greater success than I've observed elsewhere. The point you made in statement 5 is reason enough to vote for ANY democrat, regardless how one may find them lacking. Until this idea is grasped by all of us and it unites us in our endeavors, we risk finding ourselves subject to the whims of those who are TRULY at odds with our efforts and best interests.

My ex-wife, a naturalized citizen, has voted straight democrat since she's got the right to vote. That was about 36 years ago. THIS year, she said, in a raised voice that only she can raise, "God damn Obama. He's a f*ckin socialist. I like Trump, at least he tells it like it is".
We, my daughters and I, about fell off our chairs.
Then a cop walked up. :rofl::lol:

Margaret Gallagher In Kansas we have a lot of opportunities to do the same thing. Sometimes there is only an R and you change your affiliation to vote for the least destructive or change it to vote for the least likely to beat a D if there is one running. We do what we have to do, no shame in that. I would have done the same thing you did, Cantor was awful. I actually have voted for my state rep who is an R who has managed to stay in office against the powerful Brownback/ Koch machine that ran out all the moderates. She is very good, not nearly as liberal as I would like but the dems running against her have not been impressive. She works with us for LGBT rights and is a friend from a ways back. That is an R vote that I will always cast.
