The Tennessee family that won the powerball are hard working people BUT. ("But" means "forget what I just said")
Everybody has their "thing" but sometimes you realize how different you are from other people. I'm certainly not dissing them (Yes you are) but I am a billion light years from their thought patterns. (Because they're normal Americans and you're a liberal ****head) They're happy so maybe that's all that matters. (It is all that matters, so why didn't you end your post here?)
Go back to work on Monday?. Me?? Are you crazy? Insane? (Work is what keeps some people grounded...social...involved...attached...validated. Not that any of those mean anything to a DUmmy.)
Invest it so my children will have some money later in life?? YOU WON OVER 300 MILLION DOLLARS! That MAY be enough to tide them over. (I seem to recall a thread where you stupid mother****ers talked about what YOU would do with the money, and most of you said the same shit these people did. **** you, DUmbass.)
> At a news conference Friday, the Robinsons said they won't stop working and won't make any wild purchases. They'll pay off their mortgage and their daughter's student loans, but have no desire to move from their gray, one-story house in a close-knit community into a luxurious compound somewhere.
Lisa works at a dermatologist's office. John is a warehouse supervisor. Both will return to work Monday, they said. Friends and neighbors say the Robinsons are a hard-working, responsible family with the ability to humbly deal with their new fortune.
"That's what we've done all our lives, is work," John Robinson said. "You just can't sit down and lay down and not do nothing anymore. Because how long are you going to last? We do want to enjoy a little bit of our earnings, and maybe invest a little bit of it so our son and daughter can share in our......
Who'd-a think that the liberals, who revile the 1%, are aghast when someone who get s a wad of wealth doesn't want to ACT like the 1%. Makes you wonder what the DUmmies would have done with that money. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027534885)

3. "I'm a firm believer in tithing to my church," John Robinson said.
John and Lisa Robinson said they bought the ticket in the town of Munford. They said they planned to take the lump sum of more than $300 million to help out certain friends, give to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, and donate to their church. "I'm a firm believer in tithing to my church," John Robinson said.

8. Ha!
The only thing I knew of these people was what the OP wrote (without any link).
Figures .
What figures, asshole? That they don't want to donate to whatever babykilling enterprise you want funded? **** that noise.
And other bitter broke-assed DUmmy bullshit.
Conservatives: "Oh well! Guess I didn't win the lottery!"
Liberals: "DAMN! I LOST THE LOTTERY!"

I just got done reading that one over at The DUmp.
Had this family been black and said the exact same things they would have been loudly praised.
ETA: Some days I just cannot stomach the futnuckery at DU. Today is one those

DUmmies mistakenly believe that everyone is like they re...generally lazy at their core and look for any excuse to not work and sit home all day.
It totally befuddles them when a couple like these lottery winners come along and say that it will be business as usual on Monday.

Even if it's not BAU, they're allowed to be overwhelmed by the prospect of never having to work another day in their lives.
Considering that DUmmies are overwhelmed by exactly the opposite prospect, I can see how they'd feel entitled to the money that would allow them to pursue their drug habits in peace.

Of course, it was the bit about tithing that set the DUmmies off. They think their church is going to claim that this is God's money, that they ought to be punished for gambling, and the church will suck them dry. ::)
Dumbasses. I'm glad normal people won.

If they had pledged money to ISIS the DUmbshits would be fawning over it.

Any time you want to access the biterness of DUmmies, just claim to have enough money to semi-comfortable.
Or win the lottery. Or read DU.

Some of the best moles slap the dummies upside the head with the fact they are "comfortable". You have to balance it out with kowtowing to the leftist causes or you out yourself. It is a fine line to walk. Took me about 10 moles to perfect it and I still get caught from time to time.

Don't forget selfish.

Envy is an amazing thing to contemplate, from a distance.
Anger can be a destructive emotion; hatred usually is destructive; bitterness and envy, unchanged, always are.

Yeah, it's too bad more primitives aren't like this one:
