Again, republicans are gloating about how they're going to wipe the floor with dems

in November. Go to any right wing site and you'll see it.

It's nutty. They're convinced that if Clinton is the dem nominee and Trump is the republican standard bearer, Trump will take NY. And quite possibly NJ! Maybe even MA and VT! They're talking about how CA is in play. They are so enamoured with the Orange Tufted Bufoon, that they can't even entertain the idea that all of America isn't as besotted as they are.

They evidently have no memory of how their confidence that they'd win in 2012, was shattered.

Someone is projecting. BTW, we lost in 2012 because Romney was a weak RINO.

Brit Hume, who has seen more than his share of Presidential elections, said last night that 2016 "is the Republicans' race to lose," not the Dems' race to win.  That will be the undoing of HilLIARy, or the Bernouts.  Unfortunately, Republicans have been incredibly able to screw up 'a sure thing' in the past.

I do tend to agree with Hume, though.

I can go along with you on this particular statement but, he has made it pretty clear in the past that he hates Trump and Cruse.  His idea of not screwing it up is to run Bush or Kasich.

Hey gang--

Were we "confident" Romney was going to win in 2012?

Anybody?

Yo, anybody remember?  Were we confident?

<<<recalls we were hopeful.....but "hope" and "confidence" are two different things.

cali needs to crawl into a hole and pull half a ton of dirt in over her head.

Followed by a 'tamping-down' with a Caterpillar D-11.

I was hopeful.  I wasn't necessarily 'confident.'  I may have shown 'confidence,' but that was a front.

I was not at all confident. I wanted BHO involuntarily retired-by-ballot-box, but not at all confident. But cali needs fuel for her political :stoner: dreams.

Had my awakening with romney, voted Johnson and never looked back. Romney was too close to obamacare for my taste

Latest Quinipiacc poll says Sanders leads in both Iowa & NH.  This is going to get ugly for Hillary.

Think of it...independents trying to choose between a moron like Sanders and an asshole like Trump. I pity them. Myself, as much as I hate his guts, and as corrupt and lawless as I know he'll be, I would vote for Trump before ANY Dem. I am going to need a few bourbons after dropping my ballot, but that's life.

Officially it will be called old age or an accident, but Hillary...

I would vote for Trump before ANY Dem.

There it is.

For ANYTHING.  ANYWHERE.  My thinking is that, as usual, the GOPErs are completely wrong.  Trump would do far more damage to the (D)Marxists than the Republicans.

Voted for both McCain & Romney.. because I knew how bad Obama would be.  Voted for Alan Keyes against 0bumbler in 2004 too for U.S. Senate.  So I am one of those rarities, who has had the opportunity to vote against Obama thrice.

Not because I particularly liked Keyes, McCain, or Romney.  Nor am I a "racist".  But I prefer substance rather than style.

Can you imagine, for one second, how President Trump would deal with Iran "capturing" (their words), 10 American sailors vs. how jugears has? (It's 2 a.m. there, too late to release them).

I LONG for a President with balls, whether it's Trump or Cruz.

And there's the rub. It will pain me to vote Trump because I don't relish voting for insecure assholes who can't do anything but resort to 7th grade insults.

Also, Trump wanted $5mm for appearing in a debate. Does anyone think he wouldn't use the office to pad his coffers without limit, like Putin, Saddam, and all the others?

Even with all that, however, I will mark Trump before I mark Hillary, probably because she's at least as corrupt as him and it will make DU the more fun reading for me than Curious George was when I was 5.

I am not a Trump fan either.  As long as he builds a wall between us and mexico, deports the illegals and stops the muzzies coming in, then I could stomach him for a 4 year term.  Maybe if he did that, then the rest of the GOP would grow some balls.

Dude, as long as you're wishing for the impossible, wish for liberals to just disappear, ala the "rapture".

Wouldn't that be more like a reverse rapture where Satan claims what has always been his?

I disagree.  The GOP pols, as well as the dem pols, want one thing... to get elected.  Once they see what gets them elected, then they would be changing their tune real quick.

Problem right now is that the GOP gets elected to stop the dems, and say what you want they ain't stupid, they know that there is only one alternative to them... the dems, so they give us liberal lite.

Trump getting elected, even for one term, throws all the conventional wisdom out the door.  Do not think for a minute the GOP, or the dems for that matter, are not shitting their pants over a Trump/Bernie election.

I wasn't confident at all that Romney would be elected.
I was almost certain McCain wouldn't be.

That would shake the very foundations of the Tammany Hall Dems and Reps.

Trump got tons of free coverage last night; Obola, Nikki the wouldbe VP to Mr. Establishment Nominee...he must be scaring the absolute shit out of everything and everyone who has had their hands in the public till for their entire careers.

And Biden is correct; no one doubts Bernie's authenticity. :lmao:  HRC must be puckering up below as much as she does when she grimaces as she discusses either the Burn or the Donald.  I am loving this shit sooooo much.
