Poll: 20% of Democrats say they'd cross sides and vote Trump if Clinton vs Trump in GE.

Nearly 20 percent of likely Democratic voters say they'd cross sides and vote for Trump, while a small number, or 14 percent, of Republicans claim they'd vote for Clinton. When those groups were further broken down, a far higher percentage of the crossover Democrats contend they are "100 percent sure" of switching than the Republicans.

I figured this would be a huge bonfire with the primitives jumping up and down.  Wrong.

6. that is true

but its hard to reconcile the same people who identify as dems to vote for tRump. i could see someone going for a third party candidate, but trump?

hard to take seriously, unless the antiestablishment vibe is waaaaaaay worse than it appears, and it appears to be quite intense.

12. The Washington establishment is clueless. I have never experienced anything like this year.

I make a point of asking people about the election, political parties, the media, etc. everywhere I go. I sense a real paradigm shift.

26. This election year proves that revolution is inevitable

This is the second election cycle since 2008 where political revolution has been popular among many of the voters. This should be a blaring siren to the elites that revolution is inevitable unless politics fundamentally changes in America to be responsive to voters.

7. Certain Democrats would say or do anything to boost their candidate.

It doesn't mean they'll actually go through with it when they enter the voting booth.

Traitors! Off with their heads!

9. Noted.

Nominating an establishment candidate in 2016 because that's the "safe" move is starting to look like buying a ticket on the Titanic because it's unsinkable.

My mole?  You decide.

11. When was the last time an establishment Dem

even won a presidential election? LBJ, maybe? Feels like a technicality though since he was already President when he won, so it was more like a reelection. Was Obama establishment, even though he ran as an outsider? Clinton wasn't when he won, though the Clintons have become the establishment since. Maybe Al Gore, though he was never sworn in.

33. Basically 'Reagan Democrats' and from the people I talk to that come through my store, I think 20%

is a low ball number. Funny thing is they sort of 'whisper' that they might support Trump on the DL.

36. You've got to hope this is just sour grapes petulance by those Bernie supporters

And that when push comes to shove that they are not actually crazy enough to vote for Trump.

There we have it folks.  If hillary loses, it will be those crazy bernie bastids!!!

That is all for now.  I really expected a huge bonfire... and got pretty much nada.  The big thing the dummies are missing is the reason for all this.... obumbles.  The good and decent folk in this country now understand what having a weak libbie with communist tendencies in office can do to this country.

What it would say to me is that while they all sit around cocksure of their invincibility in a Presidential election they are about to nominate the weakest, most flawed candidate they have possibly ever run.
