Non-supporters thrown out of Trump event. (before it's even started)
The Donald Trump campaign is refusing to admit anyone who isn’t a Trump supporter to his speech Thursday night in Burlington.
Campaign staff are asking people at the door of the Flynn Center whether they back the New York billionaire businessman’s campaign for the Republican nomination. If people answer anything but yes, they are turned away. Police officers are escorting people out of the building.

The Trump campaign has the legal right to refuse admittance to anyone, Burlington Police Chief Brandon del Pozo said.
“They have the right to say who’s trespassing in violation of their lease agreement, so when people are asked to leave, police escort them out,†the chief told the Free Press. He said that campaigns remove people from events “all the time†who they do not wish to have attend.
Jess Kell of Burlington was among those denied access Thursday night to the Flynn. She waited on line with a ticket, but once she made it through the first set of doors, well-dressed campaign staff wearing Trump lapel pins began to question her, she said.
“They are asking people if they’re Trump supporters,†she said. “I said, ‘I’m here to learn and listen and observe,’ and they said, ‘This is a private event, and only supporters may come in.’ And then they had the police escort me out the door. There was no chance to ask questions.â€

are determining who is worthy enough to attend? Are the police there qualified and objective enough to make that decision? Is the Flynn Center a public venue and open to all? Do they receive public funds for their operation? What is the political affiliation of the officers entrusted with the public confidence that makes them unique to ensuring fair and democratic recourse?
This country lost WWII. We were supposed to be fighting fascism.
Ok DUmmie. Prove democRATS are better by allowing Trump supporters into a Hitlary/Bernie event. Don't want to do that? Didn't think so.

3. The shenanigans are amazing
A poster on the other site pointed out that it's a 1500 seat venue in a town of 40,000. He and his team sold and gave away over 20,000 tickets. Then he demanded he be allowed to take over a city park for this thing because of those 20,000 tickets. The city refused, inadequate notice and impossible parking situation. I'm expecting him to spew his bullshit about the mean old gummint of a Democratic state hamstringing his campaign by forcing him into such a teeny tiny venue.
I just hope all 1500 seats are taken up by people who are only there to call this mean, misogynistic, bigoted bully on his horseshit.
Yup and that little berg was the launching pad for Barney Sanders with a margin that would make Landslide Lyndon blush.

10. Vermont has plenty of them. They probably mostly don't vote.
To some extent I understand that they're sick of the Flatlanders like Bernie from NYC. Vermont used to be conservative. Now the "townies" resent all the rich yuppies who've moved to the state with liberal ideas.
New Jerkers was the preferred name for Barney and his ilk.

When you say "cowardly" do you mean like this:
"Shame on you," he told his heckler, who was protesting deportations under the Obama administration.
Obama responded, "Listen you're in my house ... it's not respectful."
The interruption persisted, however, and Obama asked for the heckler to be removed from the East Room.
"As a general rule I am just fine with a few hecklers. But not when I'm up here in the house," he said, as Vice President Joe Biden clapped him on the back.
Obama said later if guests are "eating the hors d'oeuvres and drinking the booze," they're typically expected to listen respectfully.

Once again the DUmmies want one set of rule for them...and another set for us proles.
These rallies, are essentially private pep rallies paid for by the campaign and the state or county GOP operatives. They are, by design, events that are supposed to cater to people who support the person speaking. They aren't some kind of public meeting where anyone can attend.
