Title: Monster storm hitting Iowa. They started letting us go at 3:30

I work till 8. I'm paid to leave early. The roads were bad, slick, slushy, nasty. There are rumors of ice storms, sleet and much more snow on the way. Took me an hour to get home and only now am I calm enough to think about eating anything.

It will storm all night and then high winds will blow the snow back on the roads tomorrow.

with all that said, my company never pays us to stay home...and today they did. That scares me.

Please keep it up north. It's supposed to stay above freezing here until moist of the moisture is gone. I'm hoping we only get a little sleet or snow.
