so the day before Christmas Eve, I shut my wedding ring finger in the sliding door of my closet
badly mangled the ring guard. My solitaire is fine but the ring guard is mashed. My brother in law tried to round it out so it wasn't grinding into my finger and it helped some but it is still irritating my finger. I am afraid I am going to have to have it cut off.
Will a jeweler repair shop cut it off because I can't get it off.
I have been putting cortisone cream on and around the ring hoping to help keep the irritation down.
I HATE to have to have it cut off but I don't know of any other solution.
it is the type that is two sides and the solitaire fits in between. All together it looks like three rings but it is only two.

6. we tried that the first night
didn't work for us.
I think the ring is mangled to badly.
I am pretty sure it will have to be cut off. That makes me sad.
I have been married for 26 years and the only time my rings have been off were the times I was in the hospital. The rings are sacred to me...a symbol. I HATE that this has happened.
Except for the cruise ship cabana boy you buggered a few years ago.
Trust me Pam,that vacant mongrel you are an infection...uhm married to won`t know the difference.

They gonna have to amputate your finger dummie. Save yourself some bucks and cut your finger off yourself. It is easy. Get a hatchet, put the finger on a piece of wood and swing away. Only hurts for a second.

Oh, that's mean.
You forgot to tell her to take a slug of whiskey and bite down on a stick.

Good advice, however I would recommend she amputate just below the head. It is the only way to be sure! :-)

She would have to pull it out of her ass first.

Now, now Big Dog. We are dealing with a dummie here. Dummies can only handle, at most, two instructions so I kept it simple. Once she completes those two, Perky will be here to tell her the rest.

OK, OK. Point taken, and high five.
How about if I drink the whiskey and whack her in the head with the stick?

How about if we split the whiskey and take turns whacking her in the head until we drink it all? :cheersmate:

Good point and since she's a Dummy there is no way that is coming out, so we're back to square one.

If the ring is gold the metal should be fairly soft so I suggest using an angle grinder to get it off. :-)
