HONOLULU — Stanley Chang hatched a plan last year to overcome seven years of failed attempts to name something after Hawaii’s most famous native son.

His target: Sandy Beach, a stunning strip of sand and volcanic ash that he hoped to re-christen “Barack Obama Beach.”

Chang had heard from a congressional staffer that Obama often spoke fondly of body surfing there as a teen. And he had read an interview in which the president described his ideal day as one spent at the Oahu beach.

Hawaii is a Polynesian state and in many ways a different nation.

Earlier this year, the narcissist in chief renamed Mt. McKinley to Denali, thus stripping a former President of the honor of having a majestic mountain named after him and now some obama drone wants to name a beach after this miserable failure of a President.

But if you were going to name a beach after 0bama, what better beach than one that is half white sand and half black ash?
