rbnyc is taking the same path to martyrdom that Manny did earlier. Time to bid him farewell before the thread vanishes.

I'm going to go ahead and drop this here.
I wrote the following on December 1st and was going to post it, but decided to let it go. But now I'm deciding, **** it. This is the truth. This is a message I feel is critical to our future. And I believe it is the message that is ultimately best for the health of the Democratic Party, if the party has any hope of surviving as a worthy entity.
...
I'm willing to lose.
I'm fighting to win. Our best chance for real change is to support Bernie Sanders in the primaries, and then take the general. And then keep fighting so that when President Sanders says that he has a mandate from the people, we are there to prove it, and deliver consequences to the machinery that will try to stop us.
But if Bernie Sanders doesn't get the nomination, I am writing him in. If every supporter does this, we will win. But I am willing to lose. Social security, reproductive freedom, marriage equality, and all the other issues corporate democrats hold like hostages so that we will be afraid to revolt...I'm willing to let them shoot the hostages. I'm willing to lose more ground, rather than continue to deliver the message that we can be counted on to back down in fear, that we will cower for scraps while our collective worth is diced up and delivered to elite private interests. I am willing to lose so that the plutocratic party leadership will also lose, because as long as they believe that they can count on our fear, all the things we are trying to protect will be eroded anyway, and none of it will matter in the total climate catastrophe that is the inevitable conclusion of serving global corporate interests.
We need to win, but if we can't win, we will be better served if corporate democrats lose and we lose ground in the short term than if corporate democrats win and we carry on along this same poison path imagining that it is somehow a victory.
I am not saying there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans. I am saying that the difference between Democrats and Republicans is used as a tool to keep us from challenging the very important areas where the parties are the same, and that is in representing the financial interests of their corporate sponsors to the detriment of all.
Their formula must be made impotent. To that end, I will fight to win, but I am willing to lose.
Grab it while its hot....

But one's got to be careful here.
The rbnyc primitive's no Manny.
If anything, the rbnyc primitive's just a copycat of Skippy, the long-banned NYC_SKP primitive, the chronic troublemaker, the persistent malcontent, and so the rbnyc primitive getting banned wouldn't be a bad thing.

Such a glorious sight to behold the DUmmies cannibalizing each other.

I love the smell of DUmmies eating each other for breakfast. It smells like victory.

No, he isn't - but he is taking the same step off of the same cliff Manny did. I'm curious though, does rbnyc agree with Manny, or does he think he can do it 'better' and get away with it ?
regardless - this is another 'real-life' example of how the Democrats work. We 'lock-stepping, mind-numbed Limbaugh lovin ' rethlikkkans' at The Cave have members supporting all sorts of candidates, including a few members who are Dems. Nobody would get banned for mentioning their intentions to vote for a write-in candidate, to for for a Democrat, or not vote at all.
Yet the *LAST* thing Democratic Underground is, is 'democratic'. (They really aren't underground either.. the site is well recognized and pretty mainstream among rabid Democrats on the web) If a member of DU suggests voting against The Democratic nominee, they are summarily 'executed'.

So the great 2016 DU purge has begun early. I figured it would get a little chippy over there and skimmer would let it ride until about March of next year. Seems hillary has put the word out for skimmer to get busy and send the bernies into exile.
I have always said that when the dummies are not unified against the GOP, they eat their own. I have seen it time and again over the years.
Nothing better than a dump purge.

Look for the MSM to turn on Bernie soon. Hillary doesn't want this to make it to even the first primary with Bernie still running. I expect to see more stories about his ex-wife, his bastard child and maybe even his current wife.

I believe you to be correct. The dem party and their media wing, the MSM, understand that bernie will not carry them to the white house. The dems are ruthless in their quest for power and will throw anyone under the bus that gets in their way.

Pretty much, yeah.
I think the only reason they have yet to is there wasn't much publicly displayed friction between Sanders & Clinton.
That has changed - And now its time for Sanders to be escorted out of the public eye, and back to his Senate seat. The problems however are the supporters. They are going to be pissed off, and many *Will NEVER * vote for Hillary. Even if Sanders eventually endorses her, they will assume that she 'Got to him' somehow, and refuse to accept it.
Also, Sanders will not be able to mount a successful 3rd party campaign (Neither will Trump, BTW) as many states have 'Sore Loser' election laws preventing it, or simultaneous registration deadlines making a switch from one party to another impossible since the deadline has usually passed by the time the sore loser has been primaried into oblivion.

67. I guess agreeing to the TOS when you registered here means nothing. People say they will abide by
something, check a box to agree to it, and then forget about it.
That says a lot
rbnyc has broken her solemn oath to the democrat underground cult.
Burn her.
