Things you never expect to happen ever
So there I am putting away groceries including vegetables and two roasters - one for our Christmas Day dinner and one for our helper for her family. So one vegetable drawer is open. I moved a bag of ice and leaned one roaster on it upright. I pick up the other roaster to do the same.
Clattttttttttttttaaaaaaaaax - the vegetable drawer is broken into three parts. Roaster #1 is parked neatly in the middle.
I sat down - poured a glass of coconut water (would have been wine but I have to drive somewhere shortly) and laughed until tears were flowing. I mean I have never ever heard about this happening let alone seen it before my own two eyes.
Ah well let me call the dealer and order a drawer.
My my.
http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/news/20-per-cent-of-Jamaicans-living-in-poverty
THE Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) estimates that poverty levels in Jamaica may have passed 20 per cent last year, up from 16.5 per cent in 2009 and 9.9 per cent in 2007.
In its report, 'A Growth-Inducement Strategy for Jamaica in the Short and Medium term', published last week, the PIOJ said that Jamaica’s economic performance was characterised by rising poverty levels among other things. The PIOJ projects poverty to have risen to within a range between 18.5 per cent and 20.3 per cent in 2010.
At an estimated population of 2.7 million, this means that more than 540,000 persons now live below the poverty line...

Good job, Carl, sir, in pointing that out.

So a drawer broke? So what?
I am assuming this is a she, so why did she post this?
I assume she is talking about a food crisper in a fridge? Put too much weight on in for reasons I cannot even begin to fathom, but why post this at all? To garner sympathy? White light? Pictures of other DUmmies' hands?
It's so frustrating! I mean, I guess I'm old fashioned but I do expect people to act in ways that make sense. This isn't a bouncy. No names are being dropped. No go-fund-me campaign. Just a dull, witless story that leads to nothing.
I'm guessing she's the perfect audience for a Saturday Night Democrat Debate.

She's a woman. She's probably incapable of fixing it on her own.

Much easier than that. She wants the DUmmies to know that not only can she afford hired help, but can afford to buy the Christmas dinner for said help. Then to top that off, she just has to order a new drawer from the maker with no thought to cost.

Okay, I think I see it now.
To me, if I broke a drawer because of my own stupidity, I wouldn't go online and brag about it, so, of course, it makes no sense to me, but now that I think of her substituting coconut water for wine well, it's still a whole lot of stupid.

My my.
I'm exceptionally disappointed. Malaise could have laid off the help, done more work herself, and donated her helps salary to what's her name and her wife so they wouldn't be stuck at $2340 with a goal of $8000. They'd have been there by now.
Why does Malaise hate lesbians?
