I keep trying to grapple with Trump's appeal and I just don't get it.
I understand that people like having their biases affirmed, but he's such a cartoon figure bad guy. What I just don't get is how people can be drawn to a braggart bloviator who has a history of not supporting the crap that he's currently gushing. And who has a shady history in business, supposedly his strong suit.
Wingers are constantly spewing contempt about the celebrity culture, and really, this guy's notoriety is all about his celebrity. I confess, I never saw Reagan's appeal either. He just seemed like a stupid, smarmy vitalis sales rep, but put him alongside der Trumpenfuhrer, and he looks like a statesman.
I don't lean toward overestimating the voting public at large, and certainly not republican voters, but this is ****ing ridiculous.
You are DUmmie. There is no way you would understand.

You gotta be kidding me.
One of the most vociferous supporters of the sour, dour, perennially-indignant Methuselah, said this?

3. Tea Party: equally unfathomable.
A bunch of angry folks who are attracted to other angry folks.
Hey Buzzy, if you would get off your lazy ass and get a job even you would understand about being taxed to the limit. Then again you're one of the society suckers who just want free stuff.

Aw crap, earwigs got into her boxed wine again. :banghead:
Poor Cali doesn't understand that Trump is successful, and adept at creating jobs.
On the other hand, Cali, you're a complete failure, adept at losing jobs. :loser: :loser:

BLM raging in every Liberal shithole in the Country and the College snowflakes demanding safe spaces and Buzzy wants to talk about the "anger" of the Tea Party?

The reason for Trump's appeal in two easy steps:
1) 8 years of Hope and Change
2) anemic to no response from the GOP establishment

Hmph! I haven't noticed any Trump supporters vocalizing their admiration of the crease of his pants' legs, or the fact that they cream their panties whenever he looks their way, nor have they begun falling down in a frothing hissy fit and fainting when he scans the teleprompter and begins to drone away.
Wait! He doesn't even use a teleprompter and his supporters, unlike Obola's, really believe in America's greatness and destiny among the nations of the world. We pretty much see his election as the last line of defense against America's continual slide, which Obola and his crazed minions have definitely hastened!
The earwigs got to scaliwag a long time ago and have taken up permanent residence in her brain; even among Obola worshippers, DUmmie brain space is particularly cheap and some DUmmies have become ghetto slumlords sleazy enough to wring a prideful tear from Al Gore.

Anyone who voted for Barry twice really doesn't have much room to complain about anyone 's choice of candidates.

I suspect there's a lot of things in life Cali doesn't get.

To be honest, I don't get it either but that's because she moved out. Wait, are we talking about the same "doesn't get?".

Heh, I couldn't beg for a better lead-in. :rotf:

Our very own coachfranksolich has taken it upon himself to inspire people like Buzzy to be generous to their fellow libs.
Maybe Buzzy could fathom some charity to his fellow primitives.

Too much sense.

Let me add:
3) John Boehner and Mitch McConnell saying that they were going to fight the Obama agenda, then rubber-stamping everything he asked for.

Cali doesn't and doesn't care to understand conservatives' and Rs' concerns, so she'll never "get" Trump's appeal.
I'm not a Trumpling, but his appeal is rather obvious to me:
* He wants to reverse, as much as possible, the damage BHO has done;
* Trump is raising and speaking clearly on issues R "leadership" have been avoiding and weaseling for years, and in the case of some issues, for decades.

That's kind of included in #2 from Duke, but it can be blanketed by saying that people are tired of the lies from the GOP elite.

The bitter Vermontese primitive can't understand a "cartoon figure" having appeal, but she supports the bern-out.
:mental:
Yeah, no disconnect there.

Might as well add Ryan to your list considering the latest budget he and San Fran Nan are pushing through congress.
