darkangel 218, you and I are ideological and political opposites, except on the principle of self-defense.
From time to time, I provide sound advice for DU members. You may recall that I once told Aerows that raccoons are not cats with thumbs, and she should stop trying to snuggle with them. I also recommended that Will Pitt stop drinking windshield washer fluid, and Steve Dawes stop fishing tampons out of the sewer pond with his teeth. They never listened, but I did my part.
Now it's your turn. I mean this seriously and sincerely: The primitives don't care about you, your life, or your safety. They will willingly sacrifice you to their dream of totalitarian control. They would rather see you raped and murdered, than to protect yourself.
Tonight I am offering you honest advice, which may save your life. Log off from DU and never go back.
Please, for your own good, scrape Skins' Island from the bottom of your shoe.

Maybe she'll get lucky and win DOTY. We all know what has happened to almost every primitive that has been bestowed with the highest honor.

What most primitives don`t understand is that despite their certainty that loyalty will award them a seat at the head of the table the reality is that all things to a liberal elite are situational and only to their own benefit.

Maybe she'll get lucky and win DOTY. We all know what has happened to almost every primitive that has been bestowed with the highest honor.
I think that there ought top be a special award for the dorkangel numbers primitive. Such as "primitive That Saw The Light" rather than a DOTY vote and possible Top Ten primitive.
Would make better sense, in my estimation. Plus the field of competition would be very small, practically nil.

So very true. Once they have your vote locked up, they feel they owe you nothing, since they've already got the only thing of value you can give them (Unless you are in the high-dollar donor class, in which case it's a different story). None of the footsoldiers on DU, from flat busted to well-off, are in that donor class. Learn from the Black experience instead of emoting about it, DU.
