This is from the Gun confiscation thread, but it is too good not to have it's own thread. Nadine compares herself to Justice Scalia, talks about how he writes at a 6th grade level and brags about how she dumbs down her writing for her readers.

112. You should read a lot more into the case law
I would recommend a law library. But until Heller the USSC did pretty much go into the idea of a well regulated, which Heller threw on it's nose.
For the moment I will start you here. Non technical and a nice little essay on upcoming (maybe) challenges.

136. As I said, I recommend a law library
I am not in the business of convincing a gunner at this point.
My town has a public law library, that the County runs. We also have a few law schools. I recommend you make yourself familiar with both. As things stand. a CHALLENGE will come and the COURT will will sooner later revisit HELLER, and it could not happen soon enough.

171. I got to give it to Scalia, he does write well though
I read more court cases than any sane person outside of law practice should... so his quotes are usually easy to digest... the latest have to do with mass incarceration. By the way, I like Kennedy's style. He is almost prophetic at times.

187. But he writes clearly,
he should think of a career in media after he retires. He has the 6th grade level down pat. (Which is the level of the NYT currently. Sadly it is going down as well). I am positive he can leave the legal terms out that have to be done from time to time

218. I write RSD at a higher level
but I have respect for my readers.

Is she really that deluded?

Yeah, but you forget The Cousin only makes those mistakes for our entertainment.
-
Her "better than all of you" attitude is what makes her so endearing. Can you imagine if you had to be in the same car as her for a couple of hours?
-
I resent The Cousin coming back at the end of the year just to lobby for the DOTY.
I mean, for ****'s face, once you trend across the Rubicon as many times as The Cousin has, you should take take your good rig to the UN and work as a trained historian while Mexico City is covered in 6 inches of hailstones and let some other crazy hack have a chance.
On the other hand, I do believe in merit.
-
Where is the Nadine resume? We need to add Lawyer and Law scholar to it.
-
Is she really that deluded?
Oh good God yes.

By the way, I haven't seen the big guy from Bellevue lately.
He might've been around, but I didn't see him.
<<<getting concerned, because saw a big semi-truck advertising Wilbert Vaults while driving down the highway earlier today, headed in the direction of Omaha.

Ah, classic Nad, the bluster, the condescension, the misspellings.
I know this will anger some, but she is the most entertaining Dummy on their site, possibly the most entertaining on the entire planet.
She is the epitome of the liberal left, a blow-hard, self-described know it all, who wouldn't know the truth if it danced naked in front of her.
If intelligence were dynamite, she wouldn't possess enough to blow her nose.
But, I find her entertaining as hell, a Dummy pretending to know what is going on.

Oh dear God.
This doesn't really say anything, but I'm wondering if it's prophetic.
I found it while looking around for the big guy, who hasn't been around lately.

If the NYT writes at a the 6th grade level, at what level does nadin write? Negative 15th grade?

The big guy must've been lurking here, because a mere two hours ago, shortly after I'd asked the question, he showed up on Skins's island, alive and well.
Whew.
-
coach franksolich's cousin nadin is an adjunct Supreme Court OTUS justice.
That too should be added to her all encompassing resume and curriculum vitae (CV).

That's good to know. I hope Marta has a backhoe service on retainer for when the Big Guy finally goes on to his reward.
Cremation really isn't an option for someone the Big Guy's size, since his immensity would cause undue stress to the funeral home's furnance, resulting in a flue fire as a result of trying to dispatch all of his extra fat.

Well, it's starting to freak me that just about every google link to the big guy--one can see for oneself--also on the periphery features something about funeral homes, cemeteries, crematoriums, caskets, vaults, whatnot.
One has a fearful suspicion the gods of google are telling us something.

I really love coach franksolich's cousin nadin...in relatively small doses.
