5. Hey Dad Mann, my grandfather owned 3 banks ...
In full disclosure, they were small rural banks in Northeast OK. Wash my TRUCK !
(picture of a truck)
Mom sat on the board of one, along w/ her 5 sisters. Then they allowed their cousin, whose wife was a Secretary for a Certain GOP Senator, sit on the Board ... & 2 yrs later learned $250 K had been embezzled.
When Grand Dad died his asphalt emulsion co. was sold to a certain Koch Co. in Wichita.
Bow before thee ... many RWNJ's are socialist and don't even know.
As long as they can get their hands on that taxpayer money !

13. I would expect nothing else from you.
so are you one of the minions that work in the bowels of the bank or are you one of the people that get paid millions to figure out ways to steal money from their customers?

7. Right before they crashed the economy during the Great Depression.
And right before the Great Recession, which did not turn into the Second Great Depression because they were bailed out.
And now.
What we need are anti-trust laws and more regulation. Investment banks should not be allowed to use deposits from commercial banks to gamble on risky ventures. Those banks must be two separate entities again.
We need progressive policies put back into place like those endorsed by FDR. While Republicans love to talk about redistribution of wealth and class warfare they continue to fight a war on the middle class and poor on behalf of the wealthy by rigging the economy so wealth continues to be redistributed to the top 1%.
I look forward to reading the talking points Republicans were given by their fake news sources.

9. Exactly !
Since they were allowed to combine the two they basically gamble w/ both retirement funds & taxpayer dollars.
Meantime they award themselves w/ generous fees for the gambling transactions.
Meanwhile you lose your home.
Oh, yeah, TRUMPâ„¢, wants a bigger Casino.

I believe it was Walter Williams who observed,
If a person in the US is even born into poverty, all they have to do is stay in school and get a high school education.
Don't get pregnant, and don't get anyone pregnant.
Get married, each get a minimum wage job.
Work a minimum of a 40 hour workweek each.
You will live considerably above the poverty line.
Watch your expenses and you will even be able to save money.
Be reliable, and learn your trade and you will earn your way into the middle class.
But if you are the one who takes payday loans,
Rents all your furniture and home electronics at rent a center,
Buys a car at a finance everyone on the lot car lot
Buys lottery tickets
Gets tattoos
Drinks excessively
Indulges in illicit drugs
Buys piercings and other "body art"
Buys excessive "bling" dentistry and jewelry
Buys custom rims and other accessories that add zero value
Smokes cigarettes
Eats obsessively and compulsively
Maxes out all your credit cards and only pays minimum balances if that
Then you are a person who will not stay in the middle class.
Much if not all a person does while in the middle class determines if they stay there or move up into the upper or down into the lower economic classes.
There is a benefit to discipline.
There is a price to be paid for sloth, indolence and garishness.

Name the piece of retarded Carter legislation, pumped full of steroids by Billy Jeff and used as a shakedown scheme by your Halfrican Lightworker, that both enabled and encouraged that behavior?
Retard. :bigbird:

Don't like banks "controlling" your lives? Easy! Don't borrow their money! Don't use a gas card, don't use a Visa or MC (etc.), pay cash for your cars, don't take out a student loan, pay cash for your homes (obviously that would probably involve having a checking account). Voila! The worst involvement of banks in your life will be the daily mailings you'll receive soliciting you to get a credit card (a shredder, paid for in cash, can help with that).
