Racial Discrimination Protests Ignite at Colleges Across the U.S.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/12/us/racial-discrimination-protests-ignite-at-colleges-across-the-us.html

Quote
The passion that ousted the heads of the University of Missouri after protests over racial discrimination on campus is spreading to other colleges across the country, turning traditional fall semesters into a period of intense focus on racial misunderstanding and whether activism stifles free speech.

Hundreds of students demonstrated at Ithaca College in upstate New York on Wednesday, demanding the resignation of the college president, Tom Rochon, for what they said was his lackluster response to complaints of racial insensitivity on campus, including an episode in which two white male alumni on a panel called a black alumna a “savage,” after she said she had a “savage hunger” to succeed.

I saw this coming, considering we are in the year before a Presidential election year. 2011 had Occupy Movement and now #MillionStudentMarch.

Students across U.S. march over debt, free public college
https://ca.news.yahoo.com/students-across-u-march-over-debt-free-public-110404606.html

Quote
(Reuters) - Students held rallies on college campuses across the United States on Thursday to protest ballooning student loan debt for higher education and rally for tuition-free public colleges and a minimum wage hike for campus workers.

They want debt forgiveness, free education, and higher minimum wages. Tuitions are high under leftist control. This is entitlement at its worst!  :mental:  :argh:

College ‘Safe Space’ Boos an Asian Woman For Declaring ‘Black People Can Be Racist’
http://www.mediaite.com/online/college-safe-space-boos-an-asian-woman-for-declaring-black-people-can-be-racist/

Quote
Students at a “safe space” at Claremont McKenna College in California shut down an Asian woman who was describing racial harassment by a black man, booing her when she declared, “black people can be racist.”

“I came to this country five years ago when I was fifteen, alone, through a boarding school in Pennsylvania,” the Asian student began. “And all I heard is, ‘if you don’t speak English, go home.’ ‘If you don’t speak good English, go home.’ ‘I don’t date Asians,’ and ‘I’d like to have sex with a girl from all the continents that’s why I want to date you.'”

If you are Asian, forget about it. Anyone can be racist.

College students confront subtler forms of bias: slights and snubs

USC junior Vanessa Diaz was raised in Dallas. But at a party two years ago, she was asked if she could speak English.

When Diaz became offended, the other student tried to pass off the question as a joke. But it did not amuse her, any more than the idea of Mexican-themed parties on Greek Row featuring students in sombreros and fake mustaches.

"Because of the society we live in, it's not OK to be overtly racist," Diaz said. "But that doesn't mean everything is OK."

I read what is microaggression and I still do not get it.  :???: :wtf2:  :mental: :bs:

Just another way to be an injustice collector.  :mental:

Another Paid-for Protest? #MillionStudentMarch Campus Uprising Has George Soros Written All over It
http://www.thedailysheeple.com/another-paid-for-protest-millionstudentmarch-campus-uprising-has-george-soros-written-all-over-it_112015

Quote
The pot is being stirred. It’s no coincidence that WAPO published an article two days ago about how college campuses are once again becoming “civil rights battlegrounds”. It’s also no surprise at all that the nationwide protest going down today is timed perfectly to piggy back off the media outcry over the University of Missouri protests, either.

In what is being called “a day of action,” a highly organized, scripted, and surely bought-and-paid-for #MillionStudentMarch is scheduled to take place on 106 colleges campuses across America today.

The #MillionStudentMarch movement has its own website at studentmarch.org started by Elan Axelbank, a Northwestern student and activist member of the Socialist Alternative movement who also has enough time on his hands as a student to co-found not only the Million Student March but 15 Now, a group that demands to “end poverty wages” by making the national minimum wage $15/hour.

This has George Soros all over it.

Quote
Just like the highly scripted, highly organized movement in Ferguson after Michael Brown‘s shooting death by police, with protests held in 83 cities and even Canada which helped twist the official narrative into an official lie in the media, this is yet another way people like Soros, who has a penchant for funding professional agitators, is helping to divide and conquer.

It later came out that Soros spent $33 million on organizations which fueled the Ferguson protests… how much do you think he and his Open Society Foundation have “donated” to the organizations behind this one?

BLM fizzled and failed, so the race-baiters have moved on to a greener field, academia. And frankly, I think the tyrant-wannabes in academia are getting what they created and thought they were unleashing on others.

:ownit:

I just wish my tax $$ weren't paying for the whole mess!

Little do they realize, that when the government takes over education like these punks want, then the fed will start setting salaries, too.

These are nothing more than spolied ultra-entitled children, whos parents never taught them that just because you want doesn't mean you get. These are the sort of people, that no matter how much they get, it will never be enough, and they'll always want more.

I watched the interview upthread with 'keely' and Cavuto, and can remember thinking just like her when I was a know-nothing arrogant ignorant kid with no understanding of reality. Of course, for me, that was at about age 13.

Lets assume these cry babies get their wish and have all their college debt forgiven plus all the rest of their college education for free.  And lets assume that these brats somehow graduate and as the result of their college education are able to get a job that is earning them well into the 6 figures within 5 years, thus making them the evil 1%.  Is this same group of turds going to be as free and willing to give up 90% of their earnings to pay for the next generation of whiny infants who follow their lead and demand all the free shit they got plus upping the ante a bit more?

My guess is they will become conservatives around the time they make the 1% earnings bracket.
