If I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all..

I have started a gofundme page, below is the link. I drive for uber and lyft and on October 18, I was hit in the rear by an idiot. I have been without income for 4 weeks now & my car still might not be ready for another 2 weeks. I am scraping the bottom of the barrel.

https://www.gofundme.com/gv9mc8fw

Forty bucks has been raised; $3,500's the goal.

I just checked Big Bertha's fund-raiser; still stuck at $2,330 after one month; $8,000's the goal.

sounds like you went with the bare minimum in the ways of auto insurance and didn't bother to pay the extra few bucks a year to get a rental car in the event your car is out of commission.  Not very smart if you use your car as your sole source on income.

And if you were hit from the rear, why isn't the person who hit you paying for you to have a rental car?  Was it an illegal driving around without insurance?

So, another DUmmy gets rear-ended.  :-)

The DUmmie probably slammed on their brakes while enraged at some imagined slight while surfing the internet on their Obamaphone. They were rear ended, but it was their fault.

So, another DUmmy gets rear-ended.  :-)

DUmmies, at least the males wouldn't want it any other way.

From the gobeg4me site:
Quote
he driver did about $4500 in damages & his insurance is paying for repairs.  But this is the 4th week the car is in the shop, reasons being that parts needed to be ordered and the adjuster went to the shop about a week after it was towed.  The driver also tore up the rear suspension.

His insurance should also be paying for either a rental car and/or your damages (lost income) you idiot.

A child of 12 could hold the insurance company accountable for these costs.

If you are too stupid to insist on what is needed to make you whole, you are too stupid to fund.

Why does this primitive want to take away work from good unionized taxi drivers??

Most likely another scam. Anything a dummie can do to get out of working and get money for doing nothing.  The down side to the dummies scam is he is asking other dummies for money, dummies are only good at donating other people's money.

The insurance company probably asked to see a tax return, and his own policy probably only covered noncommercial use.  Never underestimate the willingness of the DUmmies and Progs to disregard the rules they think everyone else should follow.

Gloom,  despair and agony on me.
Deep dark depression, excessive misery,
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

That bolded part above is what is known in the insurance biz as a "pre-existing condition"
It is essentially universal amongst the primitives.

This is dreadful, absolutely dreadful.

After all this time, only $40's been raised, and the goal's $3,500.

And Big Bertha's fund-raiser isn't doing so hot either.

I suggest this lady and Big Bertha just combine their pots and split it in half; after all, it's the socialist way to be.

I read this thread and I wanted to do something a DUmmie might find meaningful so here is a picture of somebody else's hand:

Well, it's finally at long last up to $165; the goal's $3,500.

On the other fund-raising front, Big Bertha's "wife" is still sadly stuck at $2,330, where she's been stalled for a long time; the goal's $8,000.

Whoa.

After seven days, finally it's moving; $965.  The goal's $3,500.

<<<now going to check on Big Bertha's "wife"'s fund-drive.

Reminds me of a quicktime cadence call...

Misery, misery
Is all this Army is to me
Misery, misery
Is all this Army is to me

(Refrain)
Whoa oh ohu oh
Whoa uh uh...
uh uh oh
Whoa oh oh oo oh
Whoa uh uh shoo oh

I used to wear my
Old Blue Jeans,
Now I'm wearing
Army Greens

I used to wear my
Old Blue Jeans,
Now I'm wearing
Army Greens

repeat refrain

I joined the Army to
Wear my Greens
Now all I do
Is scrub latrines
I joined the Army to
Wear my Greens
Now all I do
Is scrub latrines

repeat refrain

Ain't no sense in
Looking down
There ain't no
Discharge on
the ground
Ain't no sense in
Looking down
There ain't no
Discharge on
the ground

repeat refrain

Ain't no sense
In looking back
Jody's got
Your Cadillac
Ain't no sense
In looking back
Jody's got
Your Cadillac

repeat refrain

Ain't no sense in
going home
Jody's got your
Girl and gone
Ain't no sense in
going home
Jody's got your
Girl and gone

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have none at all. So, I take any job I can get (usually out of town, away from family) to support myself. I've missed weddings, graduations, births, deaths, holidays and birthdays, but I have to do what I have to do.

It isn't easy, but for the past 15 years I've had but one job in my town that didn't pay crap and resulted in an income of -$700 per month shortfall to break even, even though I was working 65 hours a week. The rest of the time it's been on again, off again contract jobs. I"m based somewhere in Nebraska. For the past 3 days I've been in Grand Island. A fine place to be FROM. My desire is to get a good paying job back in my home state (Not saying due to DUmmie lurkers). Until then, here I am.

But I get off my a*s, work my a*s off. I miss a lot and it's painful, but it must be done if I'm to survive, or I'd be on gofundme begging for money from strangers, and that AIN'T gonna happen.

I just thought of a couple of more verses to the quicktime cadence Jody call...

I used to drive
My Chevrolet
Now I'm marching
Every day
I used to drive
My Chevrolet
Now I'm marching
Every day

repeat refrain

I used to drive
a cadillac
Now I pack it
on my back

Now I pack it

I'm good right now. It's a full time job with all the job security of a contract job. No health but I get that through the VA (which is good to satisfy jugearscare). $0.00 premium per month, $0.00 copay and $0.00 for any stay in a VA hospital.

It only cost me 7 years of my life many lifetimes ago. It was worth it.

But I TRULY appreciate the comment. It means a lot.

This one's now at $1,065; the goal's $3,500.

Christmas is coming, but one wouldn't know it based upon the primitives' tightly-clasped purse-strings.

That donation drive is for someone else's purse, not theirs.
