I sat in the car with my son while my wife ran in to the drugstore
She was picking up a new prescription. When she returned she said that it cost $230. The 8 yr old in the back seat said "they charge you to live? That doesn't seem fair.

And the car that Mommy and Daddy ride around in is killing the planet. Time to cash it in, kid. You don't stand a chance.

11. charge you to live?

You also need food, water, clothing, shelter to live too. I guess all that should be "free of charge" to?

13. I'd be in favor of that.

Because I'm a Liberal who has more important things in his life than worshiping money. You, on the other hand...welcome to DU.

15. Do you think it right that a person needs to choose between feeding their child or taking medicine

to stay alive? Reasonable cost is unreasonable to you?

18. If needed, absolutely in a civilized society. Especially children. We are not some Third World

country that leaves its most vulnerable citizens, children, the elderly, disabled to scramble for food in the garbage, are we?

FOAD you stupid piece of shit.

You actually believe that drivel?  :lmao:

I like the :bouncy:'s where the DUmmie is waiting in a checkout line and strikes up a conversation with the person in front of them, only to find out, to their horror, they're a conservative who backs (Trump, Cruz, Carson, etc. - pick one) and who loudly calls them out and tells them how wrong they are for not backing (Cankles, Bernista, M'OM - pick one), and the conservative says they never considered that, but are willing to take a good look at the dem candidates. They then walk away convinced they've changed the mind of a conservative.

THAT kind of :bouncy:

19. You do know that they used to be, don't you. Free for the taking by those able.

Usually provided by the community for those not able. If you live in the right place you can still kill, gather, or grow all of your food, water, and clothing. Shelter is harder, very few places where a person can actually "own" their own land anymore, most places in this Country you "rent" it from the government(s).

I think a minimum living subsidy should be provided to every person in the Country. Food stamps for all, minimum housing provided for anyone that needs it and a subsidy for everyone else, and no water taxes for municipal water and free well drilling where municipal is not available. Also whatever is deemed necessary to maintain a minimum standard for all other essentials.

If you want gravy on your potatoes and butter on your bread you get a job and work for it.

The DUmbass mindset.

It quite literally boggles the mind.

Liberals disgust me.

I can't say it is the lamest bouncy ever.  I can say the quality of the bouncy has fallen sharply in recent years though.  Although when it comes to DUmmy tales, I just remember that DUmmies lie, DUmmies lie all the time.

How does one define 'lamest'?

Its very obviously a bouncy, since the child described isn't old enough to have devolved to DUmmy thinking through exposure to DUmmies, yet. And because, like the everyday constants we live with such as gravity and the rising and setting of the sun, we know DUmmies use children as props and as moral fulcrum with which to try and leverage (guilt) others into giving in.

But lamest? I don't know that theres a finite scale that Dummy lameness can be measured on.

Kinda miss the good ole days, when Bouncy Ball coined the term which we now use.

Think there is a thread in the DUmping Ground that has her classics.

1. Smart kid. Sad commentary on our heathcare system.

And just who is it that's responsible for it being so screwed up? Not a Republican in the room. Not one standing behind 0bama in a white lab coat while he signed the bill into law. It's unsustainable and unaffordable. Like everything else the boy king's touched, it's gone to hell.

The DUmbass mindset.

The 'Squatcher' Bigfooted primitive tips his/her hand on their very first post, probably ending a fine suicide run before actually turning and Prog minds to sensible thought. Too bad, so sad.

And the 'Simple Game' Chutes and Ladders primitive spouts his manifesto without the caveat that the Soviets tried this and failed. Miserably.

Well and good! Take the profit out of developing and producing medications! Make being a doctor non-remunerative! Make growing food non-remunerative [Sarcasm] (Food is a necessity! People shouldn't make a profit off of producing necessities!) [/Sarcasm]!

So which will happen first? Starvation (except for those who can grow their own and also can defend themselves from thieves civilian and government)? Death from disease?

Sometimes Econ101 principles suck. Thinking government pen strokes can bypass those Econ101 principles and trying it will suck even worse.
