Jeb Bush's Campaign Blueprint

Even before Jeb Bush's uninspiring debate performance Wednesday night, his sputtering presidential campaign was working to prevent defections.
Bush's top lieutenants convened with donors in sopping wet Houston on Monday to calm their fears and retrench for the unforgiving haul ahead
After the confab, Bush's team distributed a 45-page PowerPoint presentation to select reporters, summarizing an optimistic view of the race, touting the Republican candidate's cash and organization, and assuring supporters that early polls are rarely indicative of ultimate success.
Jeb Bush is hard on Marco Rubio.

His whole plan rests on outlasting the other candidates money, and then mercilessly attacking the last one or two left standing. The hand of Rove is in his campaign behind the scenes.

Exactly. He knows he has more money than any of the other candidates; excluding Trump. That is why the GOPe is up in arms; because Trump was supposed to have fizzled out by now. Other than Bush and Trump, the next one so far with the most money is Cruz! Him attacking Rubio the other night fell apart and it goes to show just how low he is. Most of the other candidates were coming together; Bush had to be on the attack. He is a RINO. Bush will be WORSE THAN OBAMA. He was a lousy governor. He will be a lousy president.

The only chance that Bush has is to smear Rubio and garner some of his supporters. He can do some damage with ads and with the help of the media but not enough to do him any good imo.

Agreed. Bush has a much bigger problem right now and his name is Trump who has just as much money if not more than Jeb and he can go the distance. Both Rubio and Bush are going to be vying for their home state of Florida and I don't think either one of them will get it. Both of their reputations in the state will sink them.

Jeb & his supporters clearly have lots of $$$. A PAC that is propping him up runs ads here constantly. Thank goodness I don't watch much local TV, except for sporting events.
Jeb has another major problem... how to fend off Trump, Cruz, Carson, Carly (maybe). Jeb runs on his resume in political office, which is the antithesis of what Republicans are looking for. Substance on issues is far more important.
