But they voted for him, so tough luck.

I keep hearing the govt says there is no, or very low, inflation.... What I see is grocery prices UP

Way up for meat, fresh fruits & veggies. Eggs are pricey and so is milk. Even onions... How can our basic groceries cost almost twice as much as three or four years ago and yet there is no inflation?

1. Not only are prices up, but containers are smaller. Gas prices are also down.

Someone needs to draw me a picture, as I don't get it, either.

No primitive mentions it anywhere on this thread, but the real bitch of the primitives is that inflation hasn't been bad enough to get them social security raises.

That's their real concern.

23. Gas is cheaper

So if you are living in your car, you can afford to run the heater more often, meaning you don't need to eat as much to keep your metabolism running. Win - win, baby!

6. Rent has almost tripled in my area

Housing has more than tripled. Wages.....nope. But there's no inflation.

17. A pint of blueberries or raspberries is $5.

I buy a carton of mixed fruit that lasts me 2 days about

And it's almost $5.

The cans of Bush's beans were about $1.19.

Food prices are through the roof.

But gas is under $2 this morning.

19. My German girlfriend is constantly amazed at the high grocery prices in the U.S.

"It's a big country why does food cost so much?"

I was in Germany for three years and I remember being able to buy delicious bread, cold cuts, cheese, at very good prices. It really pisses me off that groceries are cheaper in Germany than here in the U.S.

26. Groceries are indeed way up I am thinking I spend 20% more now than I did 5 years ago...

I could be wrong, but the difference is very noticeable and this is despite the fact that I switched from buying pre-made food to making food more or less from scratch. I shudder to think what my food bill would be like if I was still buying frozen pizzas, hot pockets, deli chickens, frozen dinners, etc... I look at those things everyonceinawhile and I just can't imagine how anyone who doesn't have time to cook manages.

Simple supply and demand DUmmies. Between droughts in one area, floods in another, animal sickness in another the supply of food has decreased. The demand for food has not decreased so the value of that food goes up.

A quick way to lower food prices would be to get rid of the ethanol mandates so farmers will use their fields to grow food instead of fuel additives.

Only one person in that thread threw some blame jugears way. IF a Republican was president, they'd be screaming TRUMPCRUZCARSONBUSHFIORINA (Pick one) is responsible.

But things are bad, and jugears walks away scott free.

Liberals disgust me.

Here is a little clue maggots, there is a lot more involved then a grower and a retailer and everything along the way impacts the price.

Dear DUmmy,

Perhaps you should ask some of those illegals you guys support, why perishable seasonal foods cost more in late october. Or just ask someone who speaks english and knows why, if you're one of those DUmmies who don't habla . Either way, I'm sure theres someone who can explain it slowly and simply, so you don't get lost.

So much bitching, so little blaming.. Typical.

Aside :

I was listening to Hannity on my way home from work, and I swear, a DUmmy called him to praise Hillary. When questioned about the fact that HRC paid men approximately $16,000 more than women, the likely DUmmy misheard.

He thought Hannity asked why women get paid more than men.

The likely Dummy's answer ? - 'Because the men suck !'

When he corrected the call-in DUmmy, the answer changed. - It went from men sucking, to women not being employed as long as the men.

Anyway, this is just another example of typical Liberal behavior. They are entirely unable to connect their heroes to the errors they make. The radio call-in DUmmy first blamed the men's performance, then immediately rationalized away Hillary's problem without missing a beat - just like these 'real' Dummies - They love to praise the OConomy, but can't seem to grasp why price increases have outstripped income.

Hope all of you obastard voters freeze or starve, preferably simultaneously, so as to reap what you so richly deserve.
I would not  :pisscontest: on you if you were melting from the flames in front of me.  Enjoy a preview of hell, where your votes have cast alot of decent Americans. :bigbird:

Simple, idiots.  These are the same government liars who:

1.  You believe when they tell you serfs that unemployment is only 5.1% primarily because they made unpeople out of those not fortunate to find jobs 15 minutes after getting bounced.

2.  Jigger the figgers by not counting food and fuel into the CPI to figure inflation.  Viola....  MagicMath!

3.  Have driven health insurance into a ditch, raised premiums to unaffordable eLeBinTY!!!!11 and conned you dolts into loving it because of feelsies.

4.  Are the same Goobermint wizzwheels you want to run every asthmatic breath of your pathetic lives.

Communists have always used food as a weapon.

How awesome is Obama's (universe's superest economic genius) recovery been at zero percent fed funds and QE infinity?

Oh and lurking DUchebags, if you don't agree with this black man you are a racist.....and a economic denialist.

Maybe the high price of food combined with no COLA increases will cause them to die.

     Or maybe self-inflicted gunshots.

     Whichever.

Dummies are akin to cockroaches. Global nuclear war, zombie apocalypse, super volcano, and a small planet sized asteroid hitting the Earth all at the same time and the dummies will still survive.  :banghead: :banghead:

I love the DUmmie who opined...
"Groceries are up, but energy is down so you don't have to eat as much to keep warm for the lower price of heating fuel, so it's a win/win"
Or words to that effect.
Indisputable lib logic.
If something costs more, offset the extra expense by consuming less of it, and it's a wash...or in DUmmie talk "a win/win".
So when the other DUmmie mentions how housing costs have doubled or tripled, just apply the win/win Dummy's logic, and move to a place that's half or a third as big as your current housing to cancel the cost increase.
Voila !
