Going undercover this weekend...

My wife and I will be attending the Iowa Republican "Growth & Opportunity Party" (GOP; get it?) in Des Moines. So far, everyone's scheduled to attend except Trump, Kasich, Carson and...George Pataki (couldn't afford a bus ticket?). Should be like the old Straw Poll but without the voting. We meet the basic criteria (white / over 50) so we should blend right in.

They're from Brooklyn after all, and we're talking Iowa.

Iowans tend to not be as perceptive and as bright as Nebraskans, but I believe most of them could immediately recognize someone as not being one of them.....and then after a little bit, decipher that they're from.....Brooklyn, or at least New York City.

No matter how good of actors the two of them are, everything about this couple is going to shout "NON-IOWAN! NON-IOWAN! NOT ONE OF US!"

BSS, you are correct. NY accents are pretty easy to identify.
