Vice President Joe Biden announced Wednesday he will not pursue a 2016 presidential bid, bringing an end to weeks of speculation over whether or not he would shake up the Democratic primary.
"I think we're out of time, the time necessary to mount a winning campaign," Biden said in a statement at the White House.

So much comedy gold we will be missing out on.

Yeah, I'm sad about this too.
We could've had the Three Stooges running for the Democrat nomination--Messalina Agrippina as Moe, Methuselah as Larry, and Slow Joe as Curly Joe.

We still have sanders -- God's gift to conservatives. This guy gives more 1-liners than Schecky Green!

I was hoping Joe would run and bring out the big guns to use on Hitlery.
But knowing how gaffe prone he is, he may yet shoot down Hitlery's campaign unintentionally or maybe even intentionally.

I was disappointed to hear this as well. he was the only viable threat to Hillary and he would have cost her a bunch of money in the primaries. Plus his one liners would have been great!

His speech today sounded more like a stump speech for a candidate than someone announcing they're aren't running. I think he left the option open to being drafted by the party if things don't go well for Hillary in the coming months.
He talked about how republicans and democrats are political opponents, not enemies and should work towards finding common ground. That was a pain and open slap at Hillary when she said that she counted Iran and Republicans among her enemies.

The only remaining nonhomicidally-megalomaniac or just plain insane Democrat (Just mildly, ummm, 'Confused') says "HELL no." Oh well.

I was hoping for Joe Biden was going to run. Pure comedy gold.

I have a feeling we are going to see a Trump -Sanders run off.

My two cents here. Biden was nothing more than a rumor to make it appear like the DEMS may have actually had an alternative to someone other than Hillary. Him running would have taken votes out of Hillary's camp and probably would have left the DEMS with Sanders as the nominee...which is definitely not who the DEMS wanted. I don't believe for a minute that the DEMS actually wanted Biden to run.
