I'm not much of a thread-starter, preferring to just chime in on things when they strike me, but I gotta announce this one.
Most of you may know that back in May, I relocated from Missouri to Mississippi. Home of the Blues, rice fields, soybeans, and flat lands, not to mention hordes of mosquitoes.
Mrs. E. retired from orchestral conducting in public schools and has sorta just chilled since the start of the school year waiting for something to fall in her lap -- some kind of volunteer gig.
Well, a no-kill animal shelter named Paw Prints, located here in Cleveland, MS, is where she landed. She goes in for an hour or two in the morning, cleans, walks dogs, feeds cats, otherwise gets her warm 'n fuzzy that way. It's all good.
I volunteered to set up a web site, but they gotta get back with me on that one. :whistling:

That's awesome. Congratualtions.

Cool, glad to hear!

Good deal, Eupher, I didn't even realize you'd moved!

I remember when you said you were relocating.
I have an idea that I would love to have a dog kennel for boarding and whatnot.
Big enough to have a doggie park with a doggie swimming hole, and training grounds.
I bet I would love the idea until the first cleanup.

It's a pretty small facility, but they have something like 22 dogs in the thing. Very clean, though. A bunch of cats, too, but I couldn't say how many.
