A senior diplomat with a European Union government allegedly told former NSA intelligence analyst and counterintelligence officer and Daily Beast columnist John Schindler that his/her government believes President Barack Obama is ‘quite mentally unwell’ and inquired about impeachment–an apparent suggestion that his/her government believes Obama is unfit to serve as president and should be removed from office–according to a tweet by Schindler posted Monday.
“Had a senior EU diplomat, old friend, ask me today, “How does your impeachment work? My government believes Obama is quite mentally unwell.â€â€
What is striking is that the ‘senior EU diplomat’ said it was the opinion of his/her government, not his/her personal opinion, that Obama was considered a candidate for removal from office for insanity.
The European Union Web site lists the following countries as members. One of these nations apparently believes Obama is “quite mentally unwellâ€:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
The constitutionally mandated process for removing Obama from office over mental health issues would be to invoke Section 4 of the Twenty-Fifth Amendment.
“Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

In 2008 and 2009 many Eurolanders were hailing BHO as some sort of messiah-incarnation. Nice to see they've woken up after 6+ years ... to be sure, many DU folk never will.

The European Union is absolutely right. I have stated for the past several years that the ONLY way to stop Obama's agenda is by impeaching him and I was met with tremendous negativity and given every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't be impeached. In that time we've seen gay marriage implemented, executive amnesty, IRS scandal, the rise of ISIS, rise of Russia and an Iran nuke deal. My argument has always been; perhaps impeachment wouldn't have been successful, but it sure as heck would have slowed him down a few notches and Congress wouldn't look like a bunch of do nothing leftists. ... and just maybe he would have been impeached after all.

In the sense that Barry's incessant narcissism is a mental illness, yeah, I can definitely see that. According to what I've read, his thin skin and bully temperament refuse to allow him to hear the truth about issues, so he is easily manipulated by Jarrett, et. al.
Fundamentally, however, I believe that Barry is lazy. He doesn't have the stamina or the patience to dig into the issues sufficiently to have an informed opinion. Therefore he depends on Jarrett to feed him the lies that he eventually parrots, actually believing those lies.
JFK was a voracious speed-reader. He did his homework, though even JFK's relative inexperience got him in trouble on a number of occasions (the assbeating he took from Khrushchev in Vienna comes to mind).
Barry's overwhelming thought is how to get to the golf course in the shortest amount of time.
Speaking of golfing, notice how the press doesn't really trumpet Barry's golf outings any more? Welllll, according to the counter, he's not been on the links since 23 Aug.

But, I digress.
I don't think Barry is mentally unbalanced at all, unless you count liberalism/socialism/statism as being mental conditions. :-)

H-5! I think the above captures BHO: lazy; uninformed; lacking foresight; incompetent; narcissistic; manipulable.

He could be as nutty as the unwashed guy talking angrily to invisible people in the mall, and not a single executive agency chief would give him a thumbs-down. A purely theoretical exercise.

What happened to the Nobel Peace Prize they gave to owebuma for nothing.
I suppose now that they think he is mentally ill, they will be wanting their Nobel Peace Prize back.

makes you wonder about the smooth transition of power when Berry hands over the white house to a Republican in 2017.
Didn't Clinton Hide the nuclear football?

I doubt it more and more everyday.
Didn't Clinton Hide the nuclear football?
He didn't lose the briefcase (the Football) he did however lose the authorization codes that are supposed to be on him 24/7 for IIRC six months.
