So let us see who we have on the podiums tonight. I'm looking at the Liberal candidates for the Presidency and I'm just dying :rotf:
1. Hillary Clinton
2. Bernie Sanders
3. Martin O'Malley
4. Jim Webb
5. Lincoln Chaffee
So, the Democrats have long pushed the idea to their voters that the GOP is the party of "old white guys". Yet what do I see? Four old white men and an old white lady in the debate tonight. I swear the Dem party has a propaganda machine that would make Stalin proud.

I hope my boy Biden comes charging in with his Superman cape to assume his empty podium. That might be a little bit of a wake up, anyway. Otherwise, I agree with Trump, it will be interesting, for about ten minutes tops. Maybe we could all drink heavily to stay awake, or at least anesthetized to the boredom.
You can always follow Trump on Twitter or Don Lemon on FB, if you want to stay awake.
The most drama at the debate might be, will or will not Dana Bash get a word in edgewise with Anderson Vanderbilt Cooper, or like with Jake Tapper, will she get like one question to ask?

I tuned in between commercial breaks. This was nothing more than red meat for the wacko DU fringe, Democrat base.

Whenever this many old white Democrats get together they are usually lighting a cross.

AP FACT CHECK: Clinton, Sanders revise history in Dem debate (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/10/13/ap-fact-check-clinton-sanders-revise-history-in-dem-debate/)
That didn't take long.
I have a feeling they had this typed up ahead of the debate.

Oh silly ****ing me! How could I forget that? /sarc

Must have been the black man...the woman...the gentleman with the Indian heritage and a couple others on the GOP side that threw me off.

You know....on the surface it is funny, pitiful, and downright disgraceful. But in reality we have a freakin' proclaimed socialist AND a candidate under serious investigation and in all probability committed felonies who is responsible for the deaths of 4 Americans; yet these are the two leaders of the DEM party who very well could be our next president ... and that my friends scares the hell out of me.
You may say it will never happen...I said there is no way Obama would get elected a second time...here we sit.

Listening to Savage on the radio. He said Jim Webb sounded more conservative than Rubio or Boehner. "Old school type" Democrat.

I would agree based on the few clips I've heard.

That Marine was awarded the Navy Cross, Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Purple Hearts.
He's got my respect. Plus he was the only Republican on the stage last night.

He's got my vote if it comes down to choosing only a Dem candidate for president and you're absolutely correct that he sounds more conservative than Rubio or Boner. Someone remind me what he switched parties from R to D and can we trade Boner to the Dems for Webb?

He was never a Republican

Well, he was at least a RINO at one time. I heard he'd been a R on FOX, and here's a link for it:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/11/27/jim-webb-2016-presidential-campaign/70035096/
Jim Webb has been on both sides of the aisle, both sides of a notebook and both ends of the chain of command: a Republican and a Democrat, a politician and a journalist, a combat Marine and a Pentagon official.
Now the former Virginia senator has launched a presidential bid — he formed an exploratory committee Wednesday with a video announcement — and will focus on another divide: economic inequality.
Webb, 68, is a decorated Vietnam veteran, lawyer, novelist, historian and journalist. He served as secretary of the Navy during the Reagan administration as a Republican. In 2006, he was elected to the Senate from Virginia as a Democrat.
