Florida woman Periscopes while drunk driving

LAKELAND, FL - Lakeland police believe a local woman is lucky to be alive today after going on a drunk driving trip she recorded and broadcast live on her own phone. On Saturday, LPD took in 911 calls about a possible drunk driver using the social media App Periscope to broadcast herself.
Periscope is a live video streaming platform, (owned by Twitter). It allows you to video-record and broadcast to anywhere in the entire world.
One 911 caller stated that the female was driving in the north Lakeland area, but he could not provide a specific location as he was watching the streaming video live. The female driver, identified as Whitney Beall, 23, advised several times on Periscope that she was “drunkâ€, “f*&*ing drunkâ€, and that she had a flat tire. Beall said several times that she was unaware of where she was.
