Oh my.

One wonders who places such thoughts into primitive minds.

This must be the second phase of Operation Chaos, to instill confusion and conflict on Skins's island.

I don't think the November election will be Obama vs. McCain.

Anyone else think the GOP is going to find a way to replace McCain with Romney, or some other more telegenic stooge? The number of gaffes coming out of McCain's campaign have been stunning, and he's just not getting traction. The right-wing loons are never going to be enthusiastic about him.

If the GOP thinks they're going to lose the game, they'll change the rules. I'm expecting McCain to bow out due to "health reasons" or something right around October, and the corporate media to do a marketing blitz for their 'fresh' new replacement.

Anyone else getting that same impression lately?

3. I've said from Day 1 that McCain was a marker. They will replace him...

in their own way...and either put Romney and/or Jeb in. A little tweaking to the voting machines and all the evidence is safe for another 8 years.

4. Thom Hartmann's been saying this same thing for some time now.

He thinks they're going to stage a medical incident or something, and immediately replace him with Mittens, who will have a veep candidate all ready. Brownback?

Sounds plausible, I must ssy.

11. I don't think so. I think they know McCain can't win; they don't want to win this time. Conress will treat Obama like they would have treated Hillary had she won. They will do everything in their power to show that neither a black man nor a woman is capable of being President. To clean up the mess the Republicans have made will be a monumental task and when a Dem gets in there, they will blame everything that happened during the last 8 yrs on them, and then in the next election 4 yrs later, they will run Jeb. Just my thoughts.

15. You could be right. McCain doesn't seem to WANT it bad enough.

Or he isn't up to wanting it bad enough.

The question is who is the replacement for this shell game.

I've never heard Rush Limbaugh, but if this in fact is a part of Operation Chaos, Rush Limbaugh is sheer genius.

I think many of us would be happy to see McCain replaced by a Conservative.  Gingrich comes to mind...

Remember, Thom Hartmann is one of the top thinkers on ErrAmerica.  Yep, this is what qualifies as top notch lib radio.

Another example of them making excuses for their future failures.

not getting traction?   it's pretty much tied, and that is with the MSM playing for the other side for months.

if they think he's going to get chased out of the race by some little speech in germany, regardless of how
orgasmic the DUmmies thought it to be, they are forgetting that  this is the same guy the viet cong couldn't
break, and they tried it for over 5 years.

Joe Trippi: "While crazy, this may be the best shot they have" (on the GOP and McCain dropping out)

Has it been a month already?

The odd thing about this "opposite universe" DU lives in - it is much more likely the totally unelectable Obama Hussein stands a better chance of being shoved to the side than McCain.  I still can see Hillary Clinton being the actual candidate after the donkey roundup.  The democrats know with Hussein, they are going to lose and lose big.

Even the MSM can't lie beyond a certain limit about Hussein's poll numbers.  They have him tied or slightly ahead of McCain - which means McCain is 10 to 12% in the lead.  The DNC knows this.  They know they are in for a huge embarrassment in November with that silly "presumptive" candidate of theirs.

Remember, up until the moment McCain became the likely candidate he was the Republican Darling of the left/liberals/MSM.  Are we to believe all that praise heaped on McCain was a mistake, and if it was a mistake, how do we known the MSM isn't making another one?  They are obviously lousy judges of character and prone to endorsing bad people.

A month ago I would have thought you a wishful thinking Pollyanna for saying that the Messiah would lose big.  After the past few days of being steeped in his hubris, I now have to agree.  The campaign posters right out of the Stalin template make my skin crawl.

I wouldn't put it past the Donks (and one "supporter" in particular) to be dreaming of a Wellstone Redeaux.....

I think she's going to wait until 2012, myself.  The Clenis?  He wants something done now.
