IF you are going to alert on me on ANY union issue, remember who you are dealing with

IF there is anyone that knows unions on the DU, it is me!

Hosts this is not a complaint about DU or the jury system. The results are at the bottom. It is hard to complain when you win 6-1!

Let me make it clear I have spent very little time in GD-P. I was upset yesterday with an OP that was later proven false by Thom Hartman. Had the poster at any time over the next 20 or so hours corrected the OP with the correct info, I would not have made the post in question this morning.

I knew when I made the OP from Faux News the reporting financial donation info was correct. I looked into it. The Faux piece was sent to me by a AFT local president that supports Bernie. Because of the donations, this conclusion seems fair: Other expenditures suggest AFT’s decision to endorse Weingarten’s friend Hillary Clinton for president — a move that angered many AFT members — had been made long before it was announced in July

I went to have my car worked (I made my only reply from there and I hate DUing on my phone) on and went to the store. I knew there would be some shenanigans while I was gone. When you have dementia, sometimes you just don't give a crap.

As far as the dates and donated amounts the proof is below. The scandal-ridden Clinton family nonprofits is out of line. I think most of you know that isn't me unless I'm really pissed about something.

http://www.theaftd.org/life-with-ftd/i-have-ftd Pick your battles. Not everyone will understand FTD or the effect it has on your life. Some people you think you can count on will disappoint you. Invest energy in those who listen and try to help.

But again had it not been for an unfair post yesterday that wasn't corrected, these two posts today wouldn't even exist. I will play fair. But everybody else needs to play fair too.

Somebody please post this in the Hillary group too.

It goes on with unrelated videos and pictures.  He seems to be having some sort of fit, I hope it's fatal.

I'll bet poor dear Marta's getting impatient for the denouement, which should've happened a long time ago now, if the big guy had kept his promise.

One can imagine her sitting in front of the mirror of the vanity in their bedroom, applying lipstick and mascara, thinking of the guys she's going to meet, once she's widowed, and that maybe this second time around, this husband'll treat her much better than the big guy has.

And then when she's about done cosmetologizing herself, she looks over to the quivering man-mountain laying on the bed, covered by blankets, spasmodically expelling intestinal gas.

"Come on, big boy," she thinks to herself, "you promised, and it's past time....."

Omaha Steve, who is dying BTW, is right in a way. The big union bosses will give their endorsements to Hitlery, but the union members are unlikely to follow suit.

The Exalted Pantsuits early and strong  support of TPP is a big strike against her. Then there is her opposition to the Keystone pipeline.  Then there is her changing views on gun control to the point she is almost saying we need confiscation.

Those are three big things for union workers.

Geezuz gawd, the Bernie bullies are truly deluded.

They're comparing BainsBane's posting of a legitimate news story about Methuselah that made legitimate points--not to mention stating factual facts--with the big guy's posting of a mocking photoshopped photograph of the worthier candidate for the Democrat nomination; that what she did is just as "bad" as what the mental non-giant did.

Glad you are sticking around. And let me say in advance, I suspect you will try to leave again, and it won't be OK with most of us; but what will be OK is that it happened, and why it happened, and that we can talk you out of leaving. Again, it's part and parcel of the emotional roller coaster you are living on. So just be gentle with yourself.

BTW, you might want to run things like that Hillary pic by your wife before posting in the future, because while I understood your point, I think it was the wrong way to go about it.

65. As I understand it, Marta is employed and may not always be around when Steve posts.

I'm thinking/hoping he could choose one or more trusted compatriots here on DU to act as a filter when his own filter is out of kilter.

We all want Steve to continue - he is a great contributor on various levels as well as a good, big-hearted person.

I objected online to that photo, and let him know. He was still persisting in defending it at that time.

Even though I was aware of his illness, the photo should not have appeared and needed to be taken down.

An apology wouldn't hurt.

Well, okay, so poor dear presumptively-widowed Marta isn't around all the time.

The big guy could type his comments in a Word document, and save them for when she gets home, after which she could read them and either approve or veto them as appropriate.

There's no law that says a "reply" has to be immediate.

Poor Marta, she has to come home from work every day to this mess.

And now the breathless sycophants of the big guy are alleging that like Skippy, the NYC_SKP primitive, this needs overlooked because the big guy's ill; out of sorts, demented.

Man, if one needs an excuse--for something, anything--and can't make one up, one should head to Skins's island, where the primitives are pros at making up excuses.

It's not original to the big guy, though.

Years ago, I suggested that Atman do this, saving his comments until his wife got home to read them first, so he wouldn't look like a damned fool so much.

Yeah, Atman never did take that advice; apparently he was cool with looking like a dumb****.

And despite all the advice and counsel given the big guy when he was running for city council--advice and counsel that would've staved off defeat, not to mention some serious embarrassment, humiliation, and egg in the face--no primitive seems to have learned from Omaha Steve's experience.

Not a one; it's almost as if I'd never offered it.

He (Omaha Steve) wrote in one of his posts, "Certain DUers (and you know who they are) create an invite only place to mock Bernie DUers just like the Cavers do. What is the difference?"

Well, if both conservatives and liberals are mocking you, you just might deserve to be mocked. Of course, the nutty Bernie DUers think we are authoritarians and conservatives as much as the Conservative Cavers are. Whatever. Having said that, Omaha Steve does have an illness that makes him act strangely sometimes and maybe today was one of those times. Still, that picture is unforgivable.

Clearly by the way it's worded, the Hillbots don't view themselves as authoritarians, but they do us, as well as the Bern-outs viewing us this way.

And it makes absolutely no sense, which is another confirmation that liberalism is a mental disease. We want smaller gov't, they want bigger gov't that oversees your life from cradle to grave, but we're the authoritarians. Yeah, I know, makes all the sense in the world.... if you're a nutjob.  :mental:

For those who don't know, the allegedly discredited post by BainsBane is a news article from the well-reputed far-left liberal rag the Washington Post, outlining how Methuselah is owned by the gun lobby.

Wow.

Big, Sweaty, Brain Damaged Steve has really regressed. Now he's a 300 pound four year old with a neckbeard. Before long, Marta will have to diaper him to protect the furniture.

Pure comedy gold!

1. That picture is completely ****ing inappropriate, Steve. c'mon man.

Yeah, right! How many pix of conservative pols with raised arms were posted and s******ed at on DU for "being" a Hitler salute? How many fauxtoshops were posted and s******ed at on DU depicting G. W. Bush (or some other male conservative pol) with a "Hitler mustache"? What about that cartoon of Condoleezza Rice that giggly DU folk mocked?

DU HYPOCRITES!!!

Dr. Hillary Evil will unleash the "laser beam" (her pet name for her strap-on tool), unless she is paid one million billion trillion dollars!

True, very true, but one has to keep in mind these are primitives.

Primitives have no class, no grace, no manners; it's a wonder they even know how to use a commode properly.

But it's so rare the primitives disparage one of their own, in this case the worthier of the candidates for the Democrat nomination, it's a shock when it happens.

Appropos of nothing, when I was in the grocery store in the big city, standing in line at the cash register, the woman with the cart in front of mine started talking to me, complaining about her husband.

Yeah, that really happens; total strangers talking to a deaf person.

It must be the way I look or something, "inviting" people to converse with me.

Anyway, apparently her husband's about the size of Omaha Steve, and she was complaining about how his skidmarks ruin his underwear, given that she has to dump bleach on them before washing them.

I suggested she teach the big guy how to use bathroom tissue properly, but she said he's so big his arms aren't long enough to reach around and down there, to do a thorough job.

All I could think of was poor dear Marta dealing with the big guy's dirty underwear.

I kid you not; I actually really did have this conversation while standing in line at the grocery store.

It is odd, the way that seems to happen.

I'm sure it's because of some "aura" I have, or mannerism I show, that makes others feel compelled to chat with me.

And there's the additional irony of myself being unable to hear them, so most of the time I have no idea what they're telling me anyway.  All I can do is nod, "uh huh," and make general comments suggesting yeah, I hear them, and feel for them.

There was a remote. isolated village in one of the hard-to-reach Alpine mountain valleys of Austria during the 1890s whose local church had two priests, one who was normal, and the second who was utterly deaf.  The peasants went to the first one for baptism, communion, marriage, and last rites.

They went to the second one for confession.
