Many People From SC Want To Secede. They Hate The Feds & Obama. Let Them Fix Their Own State.
I am sorry that South Carolinians are being so assaulted by mother nature. The problem is that they hate the federal government and many would rather fly the Confederate flag. Now they want the feds to bail them out after the floods.
What I am saying may sound cruel but how do you teach these idiots what they need to learn. And if I remember correctly their Congressional reps were against aid after the Sandy hurricane. And I bet red state reps would vote the same way if the NE got hit badly again.
Sounds good to me. Secede away.

Just listened to the governor speak. She spoke of charities, churches and state agencies working to help people but I did not hear her mention any federal help. Maybe later but South Carolinians pretty much take care of themselves.

"Sandy hurricane"
I'm starting to think people aren't happy that there hasn't been a major hurricane to hit the United States since Wilma in 2005. So-called 'Superstorm' Sandy was the remnants of a hurricane, combined with a typical Nor'easter. Yeah, the storm was nasty, but a hurricane it is not. But now, it seems the libs are rewriting history, making it what it isn't to further the cause of Global Warming.
Al Gore promised more frequent major hurricanes, and damn it there will be more major hurricanes !!111!!!!!

Those of you who remember 70-year-old confused bastard Bob from when he was a 67-year-old confused bastard will remember that he has homicidal tendencies toward "GOPPERS." Around 2012-13 he regularly posted his desire to see "GOPPERS" suffering not by his hand, per se, but certainly at his feet ( :rimshot: ). Specifically, there was a time when Bob said on a daily basis that he wished to see "GOPPERS" suffer so that he could specifically not render aid. Many of those posts he quickly self-deleted. I predict he will self-delete this one, too.
The irony of his wish that no one help someone he doesn't like is obvious, as he is now in more need of help than anyone he hates. If his long-suffering wife decides one day that she's had enough of his miserable old ass, Bob would in the near term sit in a puddle of his own waste, and in the long term die in his chair.
Let's all of us hope that happens, and soon. I'm sick of Bob.

About 25 years ago, hurricane Hugo hit S.C.. It made a mess as far as 200 miles inland. It was the worst hurricane I had seen in my lifetime. It was even worse than the 1954 Hazel hurricane. We pulled through it and I never saw any federal help, some money here and there but no bodies on the ground.
A couple of years later, hurricane Andrew hit south Florida, especially the Homestead area. A few months later, I passed through Homestead on my way to the Florida Keys. I stopped a few times to look at the damage and once to visit some fellows I knew that were working the cleanup. While I was in the Keys and passing through south Florida, numerous people saw my S.C. license tag and wanted to shake my hand. They wanted to thank the people of S.C. for all the help and generosity they had received. Even when I explained that I personally had down nothing, they still wanted to let me know how much they appreciated the people of S.C..
I heard several stories of fellows from S.C. that pulled their campers down there to stay in while working there but then lived in their trucks or doubled up with others so a family could have their camper to live in. The folks that went down from S.C. to help out sure made a lasting impression and made me proud to be from S.C..

Bob is upset that the State of South Carolina will eventually be able to stand on its own two feet with minimal federal assistance. Something Bob has not been able to do for a while.

Regarding the not so good people; abandoning them now wouldn't teach them a lesson, at least not a good one. It would simply harden their attitudes.
Instead, we need to set an example of good behavior by helping. Maybe some of them will learn from that. And if they don't, at least we'll know that we did the right thing whether they appreciate it or not.

I'm born and will probably die in southern NJ and have been through many hurricanes, nor'easters and just plain old storm pockets. Just this July, my house was hit by a tornado that took out giant oak trees around the house which then did a lot of damage to my century old house. Shit happens when you live on the coast. I accept that and I always have and I'm staying.
If this country is going to be taken over by shitheads like Bob, I'm willing to have NJ secede.
