It happened in the 7700 block of Leonara near Telephone Road and Bellfort.

The suspect's mother said a police officer shot at her son even though according to her, he was not a threat to them.

All over a Facebook post. I wonder what is his DU name is. :mental:

So, if the cops had never showed up, he may or may not have committed suicide, but he wouldn't be under arrest. :-)

It's nasty and cynical of me to thus speculate (I haven't looked at the linked article), but what are the Las Vegas odds the "suspect's mother" is black?

Edit: I checked and I was wrong (unless the mother is ethnically part African). The mother's first and family names are Hispanic.
