Evil people who make the 2nd amendment into something it's not and just want to sell firearms.

23. I think the NRA's secret credo is to "Kill em all"... The domestic military industrial complex's business strategy is to wait like a cancer and watch a crumbling society wipe itself out. Let those detached from reality be in charge.

44. The NRA and Rifle Assoc. is the ISIS of this nation. More people are killed by people using guns
than all the terrorist killing in this nation. Over 5 million pay dues to support the NRA, yet many disagree with the NRA on it wanting to remove all restrictions on guns.
Too bad the voters don't wake up to the fact that they are electing politicians that may be killing them with their support of the NRA. Seriously the NRA doesn't contribute that much money to the politicians. Yet they are all scared of the NRA.

53. The NRA doesn't give a shit about the second amendment.
Their color's not red, white and blue, and they don't give a damn about me and you.
There color is green; profits must flow. And if you get in the way, down you'll go.

Some nitwit on Twitter said she wanted the hurricane to sweep the NRA leaders away. I mocked her disgusting tweet, so she also wished death on me.

Wow, let's charter a plane and ship these fools to North Korea. I'm pretty sure they'd get a thrill running up their leg to inhabit a country where no one is armed except those in charge. Good luck keeping your own possessions.

The worst part of it, for the gun grabbers anyway, is that every time that Obama opens his mouth on gun control, gun sales skyrocket. I suspect that it will be no different this time.

Dear DUmmies,
Why are you blaming the NRA? They didn't shoot anybody. They didn't put the gun in this guy's hands.
You, on the other hand, excuse crimes and criminals, encourage hatred against the police, normal people, white people, and men.
I would say that this latest guy is of your creation. Just like the last 30 or so.
Own it. Or come over here and justify yourselves.
Thank you.

I am angry, I am angry at us collectively for not being able to keep the Republicans from being elected... may every politician preventing steps to end gun violence have a child die from same (my very angry side is showing and it is not pretty)
Some of us did lose children, you useless piece of shit! The really sick part of this is that Douglas County has high gun ownership and NRA membership. We're mostly rural, timber & farming country. Oregon has a law on the books that allows people who have a conceal-carry permit to carry on campus. UCC has a gun free policy. As respectful, law abiding citizens of this community, we respect that people who attend don't bring them on campus. If they had, there might not be this carnage.
What pisses me off to no ****ing end about you people is you're incapable of understand that a good person with a gun can stop an evil person with a gun. The government's own studies (much to their consternation) prove that gun violence decreases in areas where gun ownership goes up. Chicago has one of the highest murder rates in the country and some of the strictest gun laws. Guess what? Many of the guns used in drive-by shootings are not ones you could legally buy in a gun store. You want to take away guns, start with the illegal ones there first. Go on, do it, I dare you. Do you honestly think they're going to willingly give them up? Law abiding citizens there don't have guns. It hasn't helped them either.
Your angry? How do you think we feel when your side and the president (who couldn't help mentioning himself 28 times in a 12 minute speech) comes out a lectures us before the blood has even dried? Some people didn't even know whether their families and friends were safe. I was with a friend who, for several hours, didn't know whether her nephew was okay. If you really care about people, you wouldn't wish ANY child dead, regardless of their parents. But anyone with half a brain knows the left has all the compassion of a rabid wolf. Have a little class & human kindness and wait a few days before spewing hate. It doesn't do anything to help people still in shock. Every single person in this small community is grieving. This is not your home. These are not your friends, these are not your family, friends or neighbors so just shut the **** up you stupid ****.
PS...guess who was at the fairgrounds helping and giving comfort? Locally churches! Clergy were there to comfort people. There were Bibles & prayer, lots and lots of prayer. They were everywhere. There will be more prayer services here in the next week than you can shake a stick at. There's nothing you can say, there's no circumstance that would make anyone here give you their guns. Nothing. Many of us will be giving local gun shops a lot of business in the next few weeks. Chew on that!
PPS...sorry to those of you offended by my language but she deserves it and I'm sick of the left dancing in the blood of my neighbors because of something so cynical as politics.

Washington (AFP) - Oregon, the location of the latest deadly US mass shooting, had recently strengthened its gun sale laws, like many Democrat-leaning states frustrated over political inaction at the federal level.
The US state is above average in terms of gun regulation, according to Laura Cutilletta, a senior attorney at the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, a leading advocacy group in California.
Local elected officials this year made universal background checks mandatory before the sale of any firearm in Oregon, one of 18 out of 50 states to do so. Elsewhere in the United States, sales at gun shows or on the Internet are not subject to such controls, a known loophole.
-
"The NRA and Rifle Assoc. is the ISIS of this nation."
Hmm, so according to the DUmmies, encouraging safe and responsible gun ownership and lobbying Congress to not pass laws that would infringe upon the basic rights of law- abiding gun owners= beheading people who hold differing views and seeking to brutally conquer as many cities and nations as possible, and chanting "Death to America."
Cuckoo, Cuckoo!

Sheesh. Background checks are MANDATORY when buying a firearm from a licensed FFL in ANY state. Sales over the internet ARE subject to such controls. The firearm purchased from an internet vendor MUST be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer where the buyer MUST undergo a background check before they can take the firearm.
Private sales at gun shows do not need the background check and it isn't a loophole.
It would help if writers of articles like this would do a little homework instead of spewing garbage.
As an aside, if I have a firearm I want to sell intra-state, there is no background check involved, however, I would only sell to a resident of the same state and I would ensure they have a valid conceal carry permit. (That tells me they've been background checked).

Hi5, well said. I'm sorry for your losses. My thoughts and prayers are with your community.
These oxygen-thieving gun grabbers need to sit in the corner and color while the adults actually come up with a common sense solution; enforcing the laws we already have on the books.
And FYI DUches, there is NO WAY that this is going to get guns out of the hands of legal gun owners. And the NRA has done more to establish proficient gun-owners than any other organization. So take BOTH of your ideas and pound sand. :bigbird:
