Problem with a trip planned

Hoping someone can help me here!

I paid a lot of money to buy an airline ticket to travel to an appt. to see a specialist/ doctor a couple of weeks ago and the appt. was scheduled to occur within the next couple of weeks.

However, I get an email from the secretary telling me that they cannot see me now and to come later. I can't get money back as the ticket was a r/t non-refundable ticket.

I told them that I want them to send me the money for said useless airline ticket but they won't respond.
What happens when a doctor's office cancels out an appt. for someone that may have paid even more and are traveling a even further distance? Are they out of luck too? This is an outrage and I think the secretary is the one that made the mistake, not the doctor and I seriously wonder about the claim that the doctor is not there!

Any ideas, thoughts, etc. greatly appreciated and holy sh*t, I could have paid a lot of bills with all of the money I am out of this faux deal!

Thanks very much!

These stories get worse and worse.

Probably your welfare Ocare policy won`t pay much and the doc discovered that.

Just take an aspirin instead.  :)

I don't see what the problem is: just call the airline's 800 number for situations like this, and tell them you are owed a complete refund plus some weed money
because something happened that the airline can't help, doesn't know about, and couldn't care less about. Most airlines have a special 800 number set up to issue
refunds based on stupidity and laziness. Just call them up and plead, like, your CASE, man.

I THINK the number is 1-800-383-8669.

I wonder what disease the primitive has that s-h-it has to fly a considerable distance to be seen?
Something is fishy here. I'm guessing an STD from hell.

Guessing it's an anal malady that only a certain doctor can relieve.

Off course. It's just a  slight modIfication of s/h/it.
When gender is  in question, it works for me.

Obama uses Marine One or Air Force One when he needs an injection from Dr. Reggie Love.

14. Mention that you have made an appointment with a lawyer. That usually gets their attention. nt

20. maybe I'll do that

I have connections in SF and yep, I could indeed make their lives a hell to a point perhaps.

Got connections--could make their lives a living hell, make them sorry that they were ever born.  What a dimwit.

I'm wondering why does this message keep coming into my server ... (names/times changes to protect no one but myself btw ... ).

Smity, Mary would like to recall the message, "Appointment 11/22/2015 @ 2:00 PM w/ Dr. dumzo".

is this anyway .. a command to recall message from my in-box??
These high tech hijinks would make a blockbuster Hollywood techno-thriller movie.  The DUmmy should try to sell the idea to a movie studio.

22. They are trying to recall an email by that title

But that only works if you are all using the same system like Outlook. If your using a web based system you will get the recall email but it won't actually delete the email.

31. Tell her you HAVE the message and it will be exhibit A in court.

You might get that money, yet..

Sounds like CountAllVotes is holding all the cards--this one is in the bag.
