Do you or would you call the cops?
Simple question, just want to know your thoughts.
Given the recent news activity regarding police and the incidents involving injuries and deaths from their encounters with citizens, would you ever call the cops on someone? If not, why? If so, why? If no, what is your preferred method for handling things which might have one time prompted an emergency services call?
Of course they would and do call the cops. DU is a cesspool of faggoty little ninnies who have a checkdown every time someone makes their feelings hurt: 1. 0bama 2. Skinner 3. Cops (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027197828)
Still, threads like this are made for peacocking:

4. I'm surprised at my own trepidation thinking about this
Right now I involuntarily bristle whenever I see someone in a police uniform. I am so angry and distrustful of them anymore. I would call the police if I really needed them but I don't want them around me any longer than absolutely necessary. Now, I am black & Asian with lightish skin and straightish hair, so cops pretty much ignore me so far, but I don't assume I can always trust them.
We have a family friend who is a police officer but I've never seen her in a uniform and she is sweet and kind as can be to me and my family. So I know they're not all bad. That's about all I can say to answer your question.
Black AND Asian? Wow! That means that after they drag you out of your car and beat you to a pulp, they'll write you a ticket for driving too slow!

5. Just for crimes that could kill or injure some one
Then can we call them on you? You are well-known for your homicidal fantasies against us.

9. Depends on the situation but generally no, don't deal with cops on or off duty at all
They can no longer be trusted.
What a coincidence.

14. I have never called the cops,
but I'm beginning to understand why people put out poison for dogs.
I am so freaking tired of listening to my neighbors' dogs bark incessantly that I'm tempted. I tell you, I'm tempted.
God, I hate dogs. More and more every day.
Hey, Coach? Can we get a Nonsequitur of the Year Award?

30. There is no such thing as a "good cop".
There are bad cops and worse cops but no good cops.
...aaaand there it is. MohRokTah is the lunatic blood brother to Randy. He's a self-professed white guy who KNOWS a black person and who went completely mental over Mike Brown's suicide by cop. He's been put in time out at least once and his new meme is that there is no such thing as a good cop.
Which I sort of hope is true, because one day MohRokTah will need one, and his shitty attitude and moronic fear will, with luck, cause him to act out and make the cop fear for his life, at which point MohRokTah will be dead, and I will feel happy.
Waiting patiently for Randy to opine, as he has a lot of property to protect, as well as his Daddy's businesses.

Meanwhile, I paid for 3 cops lunch at Logans Roadhouse the other day. Two of them where black.
You ignorant bunch of pretzel logic lunatics, if you follow the laws and are respectful 98% of the time you should have no problems with the police.

Call the Postal Inspector instead. Or Lamond.

Deputy pulled in the yard the other day, he wanted to know if he could hunt ducks/geese on my ponds again this year. I told him certainly just keep an eye on my place when you're working this area. Then we drew weapons...... and compared them. His GLOCK ain't as big as mine. :-) :-)

These are all the same hypocrites who claimed they would move out of the country if Bush was elected.
I only wish we could force them to keep that promise.
BFDU made a wonderful suggestion about a possible non sequitor post of the year award.
That gives me an idea for a new posting campaign.
The subject has extensive possibilities.

Wow! After that outpouring of Cop-Hatred, I can understand why DU-folk don't like being doxed. It's like posting a sign on their front door: "Owner has valuable stuff and will not call the police in the event of robbery"!

Poison a helpless animal, poison a helpless human next. If a dog is constantly barking, there is a chance it is already being abused by the owner. Don't punish an animal for something the owner has done. Call animal control and they can check out the welfare of the animal.

Have you tried talking to the neighbor?
Sheila sounds like a crazy bitch.

Is THAT what you guys are calling them nowadays?

Doubtful the dogs are abused, to be honest, or someone probably would've noticed and called animal control. Normal people tend to act, not blather and make idle death threats against helpless creatures. Just my two cents.

I stand with DUmmy SheilaT.
But I'd suggest poisoning the obnoxious neighbor.
Anyone who harbors constant barking deserves a d-Con dinner.
Then the dog problem would take care of itself.

How ironic! They hate cops and yet call 911 for them?????????????????? :mental:

Maybe some one should give them the phone number for their local BLM office?

So MohRokTah won't call a cop under any circumstances.
Interesting to me, probably very useful to his neighbors.
